great interview. sad that levrone tore his pec and came a bit smaller on stage the year dorian tore his bicep. he would have won it. and also maybe deserved to win in 2000 like he said but it was pretty close...

hahaha...good stuff parker...esp comments on flex wheeler. he should have been with my sis n i in ATL ;) , n got outed too! good find.

Yeah, cause when you think about it, all three were "pretty boys". T-Nation said Flex looked "Elfen", like from Elf Quest. But, it was really telling and poignant wharhe said about Flex, that what he projects outward, is not representative of who he is inside.

In Flex's book he was pretty open about his insecurity problem which is the reason for his overcompensation. Like they always said there is Kenny Wheeler and then there is Flex

Yep, and you know, most thatchave competed against him like, Shawn,Kev, Dorian, Chris, Dillett, all pretty much have the same view, and are cool with him. As much as Shawn and Flex went back and forth, they seemed more like squabbling brothers, Levrone as well.
But, also in the interview I like what Kev said about Shawn knowing about the IFBB handbook, and knowing about the rules. That was Shawn's thing, if you follow the handbook to a "T", Shawn, Flex, Kev, would have had a Sandow. Now, we know why Shawn was soo adamant about voicing his opinion. Also, it helped both Shawn and Kev to be Weider Athletes...one had the protection to say what he wanted, the other could decide late in the season to compete, without worrying about being fined.
