Looks like its gonna be a third day, was thinking of going and BSing some chest today, but damn its not looking pretty!
My throat is all closed up, I'm a little woozy from all the meds I've been taking (I'm sooooo hiiiiiiiiiiigh).... and my stomach is all outta whack!

I'm sick, my son has been home for 2 days sick, clients sick and now my wife is getting sick. Too late in the season for this crap...fuck!

not lifting for 2 days is fine...sometimes you just gotta take a break. if your sick, just take a few days or a week and just relax and recover.

I was sick for a month straight with fever and a nasty cold that just wouldn't surrender. When I came back to the gym I actually set a PR on seated dumbbell presses. Surprised the hell out of me.

when you're sick you're sick... when I'm sick I have a very high fever for a month, that's why I allways cry for 2 days when I get sick because I have never had 2 day flu's, it's allways 1-3 months hardcore, losing 5kg of bodyweight..

I think I may be able to get back into it tomorrow! Just did not feel good at all today and barely slept! Slowly starting to feel a bit better still no where near 100% and now my throat just feel cut up as fuck!

Hey lovemonkey, You really came back stronger after 1 whole month of not training? Fvck man! I know that if I go 3 weeks without training a particular bodypart, that iu starts to decompensate (lose both size and strength) and I can maintain a certain level of development by hitting a particular bodypart once every 2 weeks, and that I increase by training each muscle once every 6 to 9 days. Yeah man, I'm completely obsessed wit dis sh!t

Overtraining no doubt recovery is a big part of muscle growth.

Just forget the gym until your better....you won't be doing yourself any favors by "working through it".

I actually went and trained chest yesterday while still sick, I felt like shit during my work out, and felt even worse after but surprisingly still had a pretty decent work out!
Much better today.... I feel around 80-90%, still coughing a little and still taking my antibiotics. Was thinking about going to the gym to do some back but the wife keeps advising me against it and telling me to wait a day or two till i'm 100%, may just stay home and blast the home theater with some loud and explosive guy movie! ;D

when i was younger i was training even when i was VERY sick but now i dont train when i am sick at all even if it's just a light flue or so!!.. i go to the gym to do something i enjoy so it's better to be 100% ready to like my time there!.. also i train only 3 days a week so i can easily wait till i am fine and still do 3 days a week even if i have to do them successively :D

I once worked out(bullshit) a day after recovering from a pretty mild fever. The next day I almost couldn't move because my entire body hurt so fucking bad.
