They told him that his total test was 40....
The doctor also told him that 60 was the previous lowest measurement they ever recorded...
Does anyone have any informatio to add etc..
The docs wants to put him on the Andropatch..However, his insurance company won't pay for it..
I recommended test cypionate as an alternative..
-
Why wont his insurance cover it? Can't low test lead to health risks?

He's 38 and he's never used any steroids...He had been using Narcotic pain killers for a back injury sustained at work.

No he doesn't look feminine at all..He used to have very androgenic characteristics.

That's an exceptionally low number for a lifelong natty. Have they already ruled out diseased testicles?

there going to do a more comprehensive exam soon. He doesn't have any damaged testes, etc. However, he does have a very weak thyroid, and gained a shit load of weight. I couldn't believe the low number myself...And his insurance won't pay the 300 dollars monthly bill for androgel...
He's not a bodybuilder so he doesn't know much about hormones etc..However, i told him to get Cypionate from the doctor.. His insurance should pay for it, and if they don't it's very cheap out of pocket.
Doctors always try to prescribe the most expensive meds...What bullshit
they are going to run some test on the pituitary gland to see if everything is cool.

Painkillers will destroy test levels. I know a guy from the boards who had to rely on test injections to even have sex. The culprit? Years of painkillers.

I would love to know my test level, is there anybody in ireland that knows how to get on with this? Do I just go to the doctor and say: Doc I need you to get me my test levels

Running lowers my test levels big time...I incorporated running into my routine for a few months for the first time and wow..my waist was smaller but I was losing strength in the gym big time and in the bed I was losing my erections...I was freaking out....I stopped the running and now my strength has gone back up and I am a monster in bed again.....really scary, but I stopped running and everything worked out..maybe thats the cause with your friend?

It's hard to say what is wrong with my friend...He broke several disks in his back...He thought he was depressed, and states he has zero ambition to do things. He has gained a lot of weight, he also has thyroid issues...
However, the guy test level was 40 total test...the lowest i ever heard of

Your friend has had Hypogonadism for quite a while. To have figures that low. He might have some form of osteoporosis. He might want to get checked up by rheumatologist, or a orthopedic MD. I usually prescribe Test Cypionate 100 mg Q7 instead of the usual bi-weekly shots of 200 mg. A bottle of Test C usually runs 80.00 to 100.00 at your local CVS or Walgreens. Shop around and see which one is cheaper.
All the patches don't work or work very poorly. The gels as well. Remember Insurance companies and drug companies do not have your best interests in mind. They have dollars on their mind and that is it.
