I just got my renewal for our companys' health insurance polan. Its nothing crazy at all and I have to pay out of pocket. We got an increase of 15%! Inflation is supposed to be nothing right?
I thought ObamaCare was supposed to cut my costs and cause prices to go down? I guess not.
So thank you Obama, Pelosi, and Reid - you dirtbag pofs.

Employers like you want to provide for their workers. But, ain't nobody trying to go out of business, to fuel Obama's crackheaded vision of healthcare.
Workers are just going to get laid off, and (once the census goes away) the left will not have that to spin the ever-increasing unemployment numbers.

I don't own my own business. But, I've been in management and I know what happens, when a company or organization is hurting for cash. Jobs go away and people start getting axed.

The problem in NYS is that the government has prohibitted many plans that small business people want.
Its another example of the vermin in govt sticking it to the middle class.

What idiots like Lurker dont understand is that alot of these costs are a function of govt mandates as to what the minimum health policy must cover in the state. So, my plan has all sorts of shit covered I could not ever possibly use, but, because of government mandates, I have to pay for it.
So now that extra $ I have to pay will not go into the real main street economy, but to the insurance company due largely to the stifiling of competition by the govt and the big mega insurance carriers that own these same politicians.

NYS mandates what health carriers must cover so I have no real choices in this state. Since we cant shop over state lines for insurance, I am stuck in a health insurance market that is one of the highest in the nation.

In Hawaii, employers pay 100 percent of health care premiums for employees who work more than 20 hours a week. Employee pays for family member coverage.

Holy Cross Hospital.
Turner, Motorola Corp (salaried), GP (salaried), Coca-Cola (salaried), Interland, Florida Blood Center, ChoicePoint, RCCL, Spirit, all provide 100% paid employee health care as well. These are one right off the top of my head that I can think of.

I was saying this last year. I am all for getting the power and coverage eligibility out of the hands of the insurance and drug companies.
But I don't support a way to create more welfare dead beats by putting the ability to go down and see the doc at the local pill mill for a monthly supply of pain killers in the hands of lazy people and in the wallet of the working class.
Especially in return for what? What contribution should be made? Even in many poor South American and Latin American countries, where health care is free, any time you go to the doctor for any reason at all, (baring extenuating circumstances) you are required to donate blood. You have to contribute something to the nation that is covering you. What do the leechers here have to contribute?
