Why do they make these sounds during reps and or after repetitions?
-
The suttle attention whores grunt ???

things get tough after the 110th rep, they are bound to make a little noise

Maybe to help keep them focused or they are straining on last few reps. I generally dont make much noise but on some sets or towards the end, i can grunt or something similar, just to help keep the drive.
I woudl think it is similar to what Bruce Lee did in always making noises every time he reacted/executed . Just helped focus himself and keep "in-tune" with the moment.
