Post by: wild willie on June 13, 2010, 09:38:09 PM
My post workout meal consisted  of 3 whopper juniors from BK.......Payed 3.21.......great meal.....very affordable!

what do you guys like post workout......quick, inexpensive, decent protein and carbs.....maybe a little too much fat....but no problem if eaten in moderation.

You can actually get away with eating crap right after an exhausting workout, your body needs carb's and protein badly from the stress you just unloaded on it..:)

I think fast food/ burgers aren't as bad as people make them out as long as you eat them before evening, I try to make it a rule not to eat fast food after 7pm but if it's early morning and you're active running around, working or doing errands, by all means.

I just hate crap food. I know people in shape can get away with it but putting cheap gas in a Ferrari makes no sense.

Best bang for my buck has always been one of those 'hood chicken places. I can grab half a chicken, rice/beans for around $5 from a Dominican place and still be eating healthy.
