Title: Fedor is no longer in his prime, his undefeated record will soon be broken
Post by: bodybuilder1234 on June 21, 2010, 07:52:46 PM
Just been watching Fedor vs Crocop and back then the guy was just lightning fast, guy would just explode.
But now hes slowed down i think and with an opponent like Raheem coming up it would take a prime Fedor to beat him.

Getbig needs to blow up again. Bring back Mars, Bluto, Squad and Falcon. Once you fill the G&O to capacity the alpha boards will gradually  trickle up as well.

squad is on a business trip

mars is plugging the BP oil plume with his penis

bluto is dead

and the faclon is gaining momentum for an epic reptilian comeback.

Fedor is 34 years old (which in the fight game is considered over the hill), hes slower and hes been struggling against his recent opponents like Arslovski and Rogers.
If he loses in the next 3 fights i wont be suprised

LOL @ Arslovski

Boy, those two knock out victories sure made it look like he was struggling  ::)

Fedor hasn't gotten slower.  He just realized that he's so far ahead of everyone else that he can run at 35% and still kick the shit out of everyone.

Yeah I agree with titus' post, how is knocking them out cold and never being in any danger of losing considered struggling  ???

wtf? Seriously, its common sense  ???
Against Arlsovski he was getting outboxed and was caught clean by punches, almost up to the point where he was getting dominated.
Then all of a sudden Fedor lands clean but by no means was he winning the fight.

And against Rogers he was tagged alot, he wasnt exactly hurt but he did take a lot of punishment.

When he was on the floor next to the cage with Rodgers, he just escaped a gnp, even Rogan said it. Very close.

So, Rogers and Arlovski should've been awarded win for those fights because getting knocked out doesn't count in your opinion?  :D

Should we forget Arlovski is a bad guy and striking is his strength? lol you shouldn't be amazed there fella. Nevertheless he got knocked out coooooooold by the greater fighter.

Rogers clipped him with the opening jab and landed one halfway decent strike when fedor was on his back momentarily. Aside fomr that he didn't land anything at all.

He also absolutely destroyed Tim Sylvia, who is by no means a slouch in less than 2 minutes.  He's ended all of his past 3 fights decisively and devastatingly how the fuk is that anywhere near unimpressive ???

It took Fedor 36 seconds to be exact.

I'm not saying Fedor will not lose.. he will lose one day. But it's funny how he's just not getting the credit he deserves, despite the fact he pretty much always finishes his fights. Yes, he's had easier fights, but no fighter has only title fights under his belt.

The closest Fedor has come to losing was the Fujita fight, where he was tagged 10x harder than anything Arlovski hit him with. He was also much younger then. Nothing's changed.

I do suspect he'll retire after he fights Overeem, should he beat Werdum. He really has nothing left to prove.
