Uh, no... I was hoping he'd become a FOX voice.  Turns out he's a pretty strong obama supporter/voter.  He let his team trash Obama to a Rolling Stone reporter for a month, which was a complete lapse of common sense.

He BANNED fox news from being on any TV in his HQ, or so the story is currently circulating.  If it's true, well, I don't see FOX hiring him.

I know he voted for Obama but don't forget they've butted heads a couple of times before. Me thinks he's seen the light of Obama and realized he made a mistake by supporting him. He just might write a few books, speak against the administration and come to FOX (the fox thing is pure speculation tho)

The dems work very hard trying to convince themselves or others that the military sides, likes or respects them. I'd question why that is.... Did M4 vote for Obama, I guess...what difference does that make. He thought he was ill-prepared, he thought Biden and Holbroke were idiots or allowed his staff to articulate that to a reporter. The Fox thing was reported on an Atlantic Monthly blog...consider the source. I would expect a 4 Star General who was running an entire theather of war to have better things to do then worry about what news channel was on. Further most headquarters have AFN running...which runs FOX, CNN  and MSNBC at at given time during the day. Barry had no choice but to fire him...mostly for comments made by his staff.

I'm shocked that any general would allow his 'aides' to say such things with a reporter in the room.

I mean, when a reporter is in the room, you know anything you say might end up front page news.

He let this guy sit there for a month while his crew trashed Obama and crew?  Makes no sense to me.  I'm sure a lot of military ppl feel this way, that's fine.  But he's a general, and he either says, or allows these things to be said, while a guy with a notepad scribbles furiously/

Some people are like, "Hey, what's so wrong with what he said".

Well, you're undermining your commander in chief.  If you want to have that argument, just go ahead and overhaul the entire 'chain of command' thing and let's allow the privates to start calling all the shots.

Once that silliness is thrown out, it comes down to why the TOP MILITARY MAN in afghanistan would let such nonsense occur.  Was he just that tuned out?  Is he just that unprofessional?  Is it like this for all generals, sitting around with their top guys bashing the prez all day for reporters?

If Gen. McChrystal is on record as voting for Pres. Obama, I'm not surprised that Fox was banned from his office.  If this is, in fact, true.
