Yup....but if elite NFL athletes played soccer you would see stuff like that every game.

The same way insane shots from behind the backboard and ridiculous shots off the glass are commonplace in the NBA now, whereas 40 years ago when whites played the game it was a big deal if someone dribbled the ball between their legs

To G the impossible G
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go
To right the unrightable wrong
To love pure and chaste from afar
To try when your arms are too weary
To post the incomprehensible post!

This is my quest
To follow that star
No matter how hopeless
No matter how far

To fight for the right
Without question or pause
To be willing to march into Hell
For a heavenly cause

And I know if I'll only be true
To this glorious quest
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm
When I'm laid to my rest

And the world will be better for this
That one man, scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable star

in usa they'd stars.  the world they'd be bench warmers.

I was joking...but please keep holding up examples of a different sport than the one I have been talking about. I really don't think NBA players would be all that great...too tall.

I said NFL players...safeties, DBs  and RBs to be exact. I'm using the NBA as an example of how a sport has been changed......football has been changed to the same degree.

Cue G thang to post something completely irrelevant, and self serving... to to prove his "point".

Along with his standard gibberish......" U wrong, best playa times be dis kat brazillian...."  ::)

reminds me of throwing bullets around corners that we saw in that Angelina Jolie movie where she showed her ass crack.

Yeah, if Soccer was #1 here - and all the NFL and NBA guys played that - we'd see cool stuff like this more often.

Basketball players hit shots like this every game.  Hmm throwing a ball through a hoop that's 18inches wide vs. Kicking a ball through a goal that's 8ft by 8ft.  Wow

maybe if the basketball player was sprinting in between the three point line and and the edge of the court on the far side and as he was about to go out of bounds he threw up a shot that started out way right of the hoop because another basketball player had his hands in front of the hoop, and the once the ball passed the basketball player defending the hoop it made a turn to the left and swished in for a three. and of coruse the basketball player must have meant to put the spin on the ball.

then it woudl be similar  ;D

You are correct. That's why in most soccer games there are 40-50 goals scored. Also, soccer fields are much smaller than basketball courts so fatigue is never a factor. Also, in basketball the court can get very slippery because it's made out of wood and basketball players tend to sweat a lot.

So in other words, if a guy in the NBA makes a crazy shot off the glass thru 3 defenders...it's luck

But this guy meant to do that  ::)

Nba players hit retarded shots on a weekly basis with dude right in their face. They were showing shots of Kobe being defended on some of his crazy shots and the defenders hand was literally blinding him as he was falling backwards, and he hits them.

Soccer is for penis eaters

nah, of course nba players have tremendous skill and make incredible shots.

if soccer was for penis eaters it would be filled with women. but alas its a mans sport.. and only a very small % of men are penis eaters..

Nope...don't agree there. it seems "equipment" sports kind of equalize things...like baseball bats, tennis rackets and golf clubs. more finesse involved.

not to keep beating it to death... but if Bo Jackson had a tennis racket in his hand at 2 years old, i think he would have been okay at it  ;)  170 mph serve in your face  ;D

its a completely different sport! very few people have the kind of athletic talent that can cross over into every sport. and those people who can cross over their athletic talents rarely end up just as good at all of the sports they try, they are better at certain ones and tend to have a "specialty"

see I disagree.  For sports like tennis you'd need to find are really 'white' black guy.  Look at golf for example, tigger is no nigg%r.

Child's play...

It's no wonder why Americans doesn't understand soccer, most of them still thinks that wrestling is a real sport... And what comes to that goal, just try to do it by yourself, and you get a little glimpse how difficult it really is. An average guy without any soccer experience will accomplish that with about 50000 shots, someone who has some experience will do it within 10 shots  ;D
