hahaha 'greatest player in the world' has been completely owned on the biggest stages by completely underrated stars like miroslav klose, lucas podolski and most notably david villa

fancy dribbling and good looks does not  = being able to finish when it counts

the dynamics of it are different than basketball(which is my no.1 favorite sport)...

NFL teams typically only score maybe two times a game (touchdowns) and people here love that...

maybe a goal should be worth 7 points like a touchdown and an extra point, to keep Americans happy

haha exactly, why the fuck is one score counted as 7 points? how random is that? why 7? not to mention they called it 'football' , when the entire game is played with your hands, and there was already a 'fairly popular' sport with the same name which, by chance, is played entirely with your feet.

he scores more goals in his regular season/club could be:

plays against 19 other clubs (that range in quality clubs like chelsea, liverpool (only a few) to awful clubs) pretty much from 5 onwards

also his team (he has some of the best players to play off from) also luck comes into this from his side and the defence (making mistakes)

Adriano Leite Ribeiro

Ronaldo

those 3 guys are great strikers and would be no.1 picks for other teams

- though my pick for the world cup is GERMANY

They love no hitters in Baseball.

You should check up on the rules of rugby for where multiple points for a score come from. I think a try and conversion is worth 7 points these days. And Eurotrash seem to like that sport almost as much as soccer.

Have you seen Ronaldo these days?  He is a large man.  My Brazilian roommate says he still scores quite a few goals in the Brazilian league though.

On topic: C. Ronaldo is a girl.

He's a pretty prolific goal scorer, he's had 132 goals in 174 club matches the last few years.

C Ronaldo is a great player , in his national  team he doesn't  have the same quality of players  than Villa does (Xavi, Iniesta....).
