I installed a keylogger on my computer because I had a feeling my GF/fiance was fucking around behind my back and it was true, I came home last night and found a bunch of shit, confronted her about it and she went crazy started punching and kicking me but I never touched her, she went in the bathroom and smashed her head against the wall a few times and said "now I'm calling the cops"
she's going to try to blame it on me saying I hit her etc, she has before, and I'll prob make a trip down to county jail.

Because, in the cop's eyes you are a woman beater.

well she got preggo 3 months into us dating so I really didn't know her too well.. my fault, but I manned up and have been taking care of them both for 3 years now (I pay a car payment for her, 08' commander on 24's) the kid has everything she always needs, I've lent her over 3k to take care of the little one but i'm done now.. too good for this shit.

Shitty situation but I'm definately not trashy, I don't live in or within 20 miles of a trailer park. The only reason the Commander isn't payed off is I wanted to build my credit, I also have an 2008 Audi A4 1.8T with no car payment.

Go to the store right now and get yourself a mini-tape recorder and start taping your conversations with her. Get your to say she fucked yourself up on tape. After you get that on tape, make a copy keep it out of the house. If she does get the cops involved, you will be arrested no doubt about it. After she admits to beating yourself up on tape and you have a copy in a safe place, make sure you tell her that you don't trust her and that you are taping every conversation you ever have with her from here on out. When the cops tell you that you aren't allowed to tape anyone who doesn't know they are being taped, you tell them that you told her that you are taping her.(even if you didn't tell her before she admitted to beating herself up) who cares, the cops will have to drop it all because it will be on big cluster fuck and in most cases they will listen to the tapes and realize she is fucked. But keep copies in a safe place. And if cops ask you if there are copies tell them of course there is.

ALso you don't need a tape recorder, if you have an extra phone, turn the ringer off on one and put it in your pocket, call it from your other phone and don't answer, let it go to voicemail...then start arguing with her, within 45 seconds she'll scream at you 'I'm gonna go cut my self and call the cops and you're going to jail' voicemail has a tendency to run for a good 5-10 minutes if you don't cut it off...everything will be recorded.

I worked 2 yrs in a Family Violence unit as a Detective back in the 90's. Couple things come to mind.. Someone had the idea of recording conversations. Excellent idea and in some states it is not illegal to record a conversation as long as the person recording is part of the conversation. Another thing is, anytime your spouse, GF/Fiance' starts beating themselves up, call the police yourself. It tends to make a difference as far as credibility if you call. Even if the psycho calls, never leave the scene entirely. Remove yourself from his/her immediate presence, but if you never talk to the police, they won't have your side. A warrant will be issued based on the physical evidence, his her form she fills out at the scene.
At this point, just sitting around wondering and waiting to see if the police show up is silly. You can call and find out if a report was made. You can ask for the number to the investigating Detective and you can give your side of it. It will not be the first time the detectives worked a case where the "victim" caused their own injuries.
