So I entered and won a 4th of July Hot Dog eating contest today...11 dogs (with buns) in five minutes. Second place ate 7.
Anybody here try doing something this stupid?
I watched a few youtube vids to see what the 'latest techniques' were...basically, separating the dogs from the buns and using a cup of water to soak the buns. Worked for me.
Then I purged em' all out when I got home. That was pretty bad...next time I'll just shit em' out the ol' fashioned way. Prior to this, I've eaten six Big Macs in one sitting.

It may get broken again this fourth of July. I was averaging a lil over two per minute; anything more than that woulda made me hurl. In fact, that's the only thing that stops you: thinking about what you're doing, how many more you have to eat, and how you're not going to get sick.
I just closed my eyes and kept going. Once your mind realizes the taste of those nasty dogs isn't going away, you've got a real battle. I think that's gotta be what makes the top eaters a different breed...mentally blocking out the taste.

But, there's no doubt that there are people in here who are experts in stuffing their mouths full of meat.

The most i ever seen was a guy who ate ten triple cheeseburgers in one sitting at mcdonalds around 1997 when they were on sale for a dollar each. he would just eat one, crumple up the wrapper, toss it to the side and work on the next one.

Not much man. Not competing anymore or any of that shit. Still post on Flexonline once in a blue moon but nobody is there anymore. They had a site called Gymrats and Goheavy but both the boards went under so haven't talked to any of the old crew in years. Fuk we all knew each other in the internet world for probably 6-7 years so it's kinda sad nobody is still around. I think Prof X is at testosterone.net but no clue where everyone else went. Bast posts here though, if you remember him lol

Eatin' hot dogs...lol. Just kiddin', I noticed Prof X over at Tnation as well. He seems to still enjoy arguing over the finer points of hand placement during wide-grip pulldowns to the front.

The world champion for this stuff (hot dog eating) WAS ARRESTED in NY for ilegally entering a hotdog eating contest, a Japanese dude...he was arrested because he wouldn't sign an exclusive contract with the head sponsor, he wanted to be able to compete in other hot dog eating contests around the world, and they wanted him to be exclusive to them...so the promoter had cops ARREST HIM....f*cked up, this was front page on Yahoo this morning.

The first half was freaking awesome after that I was just like ugggghhhh!!! I was the 1st person to do it so I got to name it and no one has done it since me over 70 have tried now. I was the 31st person to try it. My 400 plus pound training partner couldnt do it :)
