i'm an amsrican BUT....america against america in 99% of the sports we play isn't exactly competition :-\

competition is competition. does not have to be international.

international competitions are what the olympics are for, and america dominated them

IMO, city vs city in american football/baseball/basketball builds a unique national bond/pastime.

so many people from other countries come to compete in our NBA and MLB. I don't get it. these leagues have the best of the best from around the world and competition is extreme.... i don't get your point?

only teams that compete from other countries are competitive? i do not follow your logic.
