Much, much, much, much, much better foreign policy wise.
Probably would have done better in Afghanistan and in fighting terrorism. One thing is certain, a lot more time would have been spent on running the country instead of giving interviews to ESPN, going on Letterman, attending basketball games, giving public service announcements, ramming healthcare down America's throat and attempting to use the disaster in the Gulf as an excuse to advance cap and trade.
Hard to say domestically, but we definetly wouldn't have spent as much money and there would be much less government involvement in the private sector.
Better on immigration forsure.
On most other issues it's impossible to tell because the President selects the members of his cabniet to handle a lot of stuff. With that said, it's hard to imagine McCain picking anyone worse than Rahm Emmanuel,Tim Geitner, Janet Napolitano, Van Jones or any of the other freakshows that have played an active role in setting policy. And as bad a choice as Palin was for VP, I highly doubt that she could do as terrible a job as Joe Biden.

Same or worse

He was for amnesty, now he is not
his VP was Sarah Palin, you can't do any worse
they are all whores, doesn't mean you can't be a good whore, but they are all whores nonetheless. Basically, Americans need to get off their sweet fat asses and start fixing their own damn problems, their own damn communities, their own damn cities.
You can't leave it up to politicians who are in bed with corporations. If a corporation says, "Bend over and say my name...", do you think that politician is gonna call him, "Mainstreet America"
No, he's gonna take corporate pipe like Debbie was doing Dallas.
-
HAHAHAHAHA. Oh wait. HAHAHAHAHAHA.
Palin says it all.

in other political news, past week nancy Pelosi purchased herself a new office..........on taxpayer money of course...........it happens to be the most expensive office purchased by ANY senator EVER.
but the rest of us have to give, be diverse, be frugal, and make concessions
there is NOTHING in the world more detestable then limousine liberalism

No, he gets the concept of spend less for one. He ain't perfect but damn, the tune is totally changing towards Obama from him being a socialist to just a flat out marxist.

it would have still been as bad....its going to take several terms, with several administrations to fix the mess from the last few.......just the way it is.....it has happened before...

republicans are more guilty of this stuff than anyone, and they are the ones touting themselves as 'fiscal conservatives' ::) like texas gov. (for like 10 years now wtf??) rick perry spending taxpayer money on a lavish residence and lifestyle while the texas gov mansion was being rebuilt.
all politicians (99%) at least are hypocrites of the highest order. even in communist countries those in power live lavish, luxerious lifestyles whilst preaching socialist rhetoric and all the people live in want.
-
With out a doubt.
dont get me start with your brasilian training principles again. ;D
anyway...mccain said the avg income in an us household was $2M. yeah...he is in real touch with the common citizen.
also...it's not like mccain would set aside the 20$B BP fund.

You are really delusional

yeah, things would be pretty similar.
instead of healthcare, mccain would have privatized social security (and how many of us trust the market at all... imagine choosing which stock to place your life savings... AIG or BP? LOL... way too risky. Everytime a company fails, millions of americans lose life savings...no way)
amnesty would be happening - hell, mccain authored the amnesty bill with kennedy.
-
I don't want to say things would have been better, but I know they wouldn't have been worse. We wouldn't have a egotistical president bent on destroying the country from the inside out...

WROOOONNNNGGGGGG...you think a house and senate that are dem controlled are going to allow that??? LMAO
one thing is for sure the biggest turd that obama has laid thus far wouldnt have happend which is the health care bullshit...
mccain would have been neutered by the dem control of the house and senate and there would have had to been true bi partisanship not the obama "bipartisanship" that is anything but...
other than that it would probably be very similiar, I think the middle east would probably be a little more stable than with obama but who knows...
-
you guys don't know shit about politics (neither do I) everybody shut up and quit being so naive and believing all the garbage you hear about either politician

Has Biden done anything? Fuck I thought he died awhile back. :-\

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has more than quadrupled the rent on her San Francisco district office, making the $18,736-a-month cost of her new South of Market space the highest in the House, according to a new report.
oh brother. what a dumb ass c.unt wasting all that money.

They answer to the same people. A choice is given at election time to give the illusion of democracy.

Yep, and those dumb people think that have a choice---the "choice" (on where we are headed) had already been made.

'
yep..........dems.....re ps...........two heads of the same dragon
the only thing better for people in power then a "monopoly"..........is a "duopoly".............where two parties, who on the outside appear as enemies, share power and crush competition
you see it all the time: coke and pepsi, mcdonalds and burgerking, at&t adn verizon............
people get a false sense of security, and feel like they have a choice..........whereas if only 1 party ruled, the people would have a specific place to focus their attention
these 2 parties could create an illusion of competition, set prices, crush dissent............and most importantly............. .ENSURE NO ACTUAL, TANGIBLE CHANGE EVER TAKES PLACE

Don't worry about American politics until your people can actually run your openly corrupt country.

Fixed that for ya.
Seriously though, Obama doesn't even deny it (nor does anyone else in his administration). I remember before he was elected he was asked and he denied it......just another lie.
