This lady is breast feeding her child who is past 7 yrs old. Look how this girl asks for it and goes underneath her shirt! And her sister breastfeed until 5 yrs old! And they draw pictures of her breasts, they sem too "latched" on to the breasts and name them. I think that they are going to have "letting go" issues as adults

Interestingly enough, research has shown that there is no difference in child development between those mothers that breastfeed and those that don't. Infant formula comes pretty damn close to breast milk. Breast feeding, in and of itself, is more about the attachment to the mother. Feeling the mothers closeness, the touch of her skin, her heartbeat, etc. As long as mothers hold their babies in that same position they would if they were breast feeding, then normal child development should ensue. Obviously, this is assuming all other factors are taken into account which can effect the trajectory of infant/child development.

Its safe to say that these girls will grow up to either never leave home or be very good in "oral exercises"

You don't believe there's any immune system benefit from breastfeeding?

Parents should be shot.

Well, that's besides the point. I was just discussing infant/child development. How these girls turn out when they are adolescents will be very interesting.

From what I've gathered, breastfeeding does not provide any more physical or mental benefits than not breast feeding. Obviously, I am just stating research. Each parent has to decide for themselves what they think is best.

Research sponsored by who? Nestle?
I've seen plenty of pro-breast milk research too. I wouldn't read much into either side with the exception that breast milk is what babies were intended to drink.
The only downside is mischeivous women putting breast milk in your morning coffee and giggling about it all day.
