Politics aside, I am very concerned about the direction of this country under Obama's leadership. He's sort of like Carter on the sauce.
Gingrich Calls Obama 'Disaster,' Says He's Weighing 2012 Presidential Bid
Published July 12, 2010 | Associated Press
DES MOINES, Iowa -- Former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich says he's considering running for president in 2012 and expects to make a decision by early next year.
In an interview Monday with The Associated Press, Gingrich predicted a Republican would defeat Democratic President Barack Obama in 2012. He called Obama a "disaster" who would go down as the worst president in modern times.
Gingrich said he'll focus on the midterm elections this fall, then decide whether to seek the Republican nomination by next February or March.
Gingrich was in Des Moines for a fundraiser and workshop for local Republican candidates.
Gingrich said he briefly considered seeking the 2008 Republican nomination but would take a more serious look at a presidential campaign this time.

Good luck with that. ::) He's as delusional as they come on the right.

He's a hypocrite of the first order, but politically he is as savvy as they come.

I dont care who the dude screws... but he should have sat out of the clinton prosecution if he was banging a side dish as well.

yeah - I can't believe Obama hasn't already fixed all the problems created in the last 8+ years (really 30 years since the Repubs have been destroying our economy since the days of Reagan) and also hasn't plugged that damn oil leak either

Clinton did a great job, what with the downward spiral he left the economy in. ::)

What other president has erased a deficit? One of the few bright spots in the economy was during those years................aft er that it got f'd up beyond belief.

None? Because Clinton sure didn't. The national debt also increased every year of his Presidency. He came close to balancing the budget in 2000, but it did not happen.
The claimed "Surplus" was 250 billion or so dollars that the government "borrowed" and than claimed as income.
He never left Bush with any surplus. The future surpluses that are always brought up were based on the bubble economy at the time. The bubble popped and tax revenues collapsed.

At least during Newt-Clinton Era, we actually talked about balanced budgets, welfare reform, etc..

Clinton and Newt were about to begin major work on a total overhaul of our entitlement systems...until BlowjobGate happened.
I just bought the book ,The Pact, that details how they were going to go about it and how they actually worked together much more than the public was led to believe.
That doesn't really happen anymore.

The issue is that Boehner is a clown in his own right. As for Obama - he is at heart a radical. Bill Clinton was a lot of things, but a committed marxist was not one of them.
