Title: Bigger, Stronger, Faster
Post by: Eyeball Chambers on July 18, 2010, 12:52:56 PM
Two questions

1. Why would this man make a whole movie of himself crying over steroids.

2. Why did Arnold have all his images at Golds Gym removed?

 ???

Sad thing is his brother did actually die a year or so after that movie was released...
I believe he was having them taken down to avoid any negative connotations of steroids and such during his governor campaign as well as earning extra income from the use of his likeliness which i believe is why he had to continue doing editorials for muscle and fitness for free.

i'm watching it now on showtime as well and it still kills me that this movie is really about this queer notion of something called "morality"

listen guys- get rid of "morality".  A life without morals is a life with better sex and you'll have alot more money.

and btw, I do believe in a "higher power"...however, this "higher power" doesn't care what you do morally so go nuts

yet he has no problem lending his name to the arnold classic every year. and gladhanding the winner of the contests. i guess he don't realize that they use abuse steroids and the like.

Yeah, just saw it on Showtime today.

I won't ever use steroids, but not because I'd consider it "immoral"...  How could taking steroids possibly be construed as immoral?

 ???

again, i do believe in a higher power but he/she/it DOESN'T CARE if you do steroids

"Morals" are just a set of rules set up by religious authorities to keep us from fucking our own siblings- This entity known as "God" (and he/she/it does exist) doesn't care what you do

Agreed. I wish more people got smart and realized this.
Ironically, I started to think there is no god and all this other b.s. while going to school at the largest Catholic university in the states.

Only thing I believe in is to be a "good" person... basically just mind your own business without harming  others.

Brutal gargoyle syndrome.  Gotta love this type.  Delusional as the day is long.

The best guy, is the one who lives in a van, but wants to impress the world with what he squats. ;D
Women love that shit.  Sure, I live in a van down by the river, but my bench with steroids is over 300lbs!

Doesn't every woman want to marry a guy like that?

Actually, maybe the "stay feminine" woman and the guy in the van would make a nice couple?  He could appreciate your beauty and she could appreciate his squats. &guy things have happened. ;D

WOOOOSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

They're being completely honest, you have to eat your vegetables, be true Americans, in addition to working out hard and taking steroids.  They're not lying, just neglecting details.

Why do we feel sorry for people that are ignorant?  You think all the dumb ass seventeen year old guys that waste their money on junk supplements deserve better?  If they're dumb enough to think they'll get "jacked" on NO Xplode, they deserve what they get.  I'm quite content with a world in which people who do their research succeed, and morons continue to fail.

why must you act like you know everything, just because he lived in a van doesnt mean he never had a house or apartment, maybe you havent learned life is not based around your schematics and psyche, and your laws of life..........pauly is a great man, and maybe you should worry about your life.

Yeah, but in general someone who lives in a van in the parking lot of a gym is a loser in 99.999999999999999999999 999999999999999999999% of all cases.

well when you've lived a certain way for so long, its just habit, look how those people on that show hoarding live, some have beautiful homes, but have ravaged it with shit............why do some people do what they do?  Pauly is a good guy, you know I went through a hard time and I would sleep in my car behind gold's for like 3 months, so hey.....life can get tough in LA or wherever you are.

This was a great movie, IMO.  I wonder what Chris Bell thinks though after the fact his brother passed away...I would have thought he would have made a statement.

I guess it's different for all folks, but there's a large majority for whom steroids ARE somewhat a morality based decision, but I look at it as a question of ethics.  Even if if steroids were legal, would you use them?  That could be its own interesting thread right there.

With as many fat-ass pieces of shit who post here daily, you'd think that people would be lining up to the Juiceman.  Instead, you've got the guys who actually train without drugs who have the ethics questions, the juicers who don't have issue with it happy with their decisions and the fatsoes who just stir the pot, making excuses for their fat selves.

Good fuckin' movie.

I hear the majority of the pics of Arnold are back up, except his Olympia wall.  That's a damn shame.

RIP Smelly  :(

It was Mike "Mad Dog" Bell that died (the oldest brother), not Mark "Smelly" Bell, the youngest.  Anyone know what killed Bell?  That would be a sad coda if it was steroid related.  Really makes you feel for his wife who picked up and moved to LA just so he could pursue his sad dream of being a pro wrestler.

" CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY???" Hmmmm............how much did that cost to go there?? Funny how nowadays, RELIGION COSTS MONEY. " Let us teach you about GOD/JESUS BUT give us X amount of money". " I myself went to a catholic grade school for almost 10 years/going too church twice a week!! Talk about brainwashing!!! No wonder why i have OCD.
