I like how is diet plan is so simple lol  :D

You ever read the diets in flex magazine? Fucking stupid and ridiculous. They have you eating like 8 different foods for one meal. I love when they are like "8 oz steak, 1 cup of rice, 1 3/4 peanut butter, 1.456 oz of honey, 2 tbsp of olive and vinegar on salad, 1/2 cup of almonds, 1/2 avocado, 4 rice cakes, etc"

Flex has the dumbest meals plans. so complicated and stupid.

Didn't watch the whole thing but Magnus is cool...everyone seems to like him here.  Little thing I liked/noticed-when the dumbells are you own or they are the only ones you have access to or you know how much they cost or whatever, you don't throw them!

yeah but they boil down caloric requirements from trial and error so having specific ratios of food and calories makes sense, its just stupid that they keep the specifics in the magazines, i agree.

Why are two weights on each side in a different color? Don't you find that strange? I think its fake weights, two on each side... haha... I believe that magnus is just that kind of a guy to do it. Is it just a concidence that 2 differnt color weights end up on each side, and on the same place?

Plus, these diets are supposed to be for people reading the magazines. Most people who read Flex are regular "joes" They have a family, a job, etc. Who the hell is going to carry around an avocado to work?  ::) Id rather see a more realistic diet.

The deep red plates are newer Eleiko 25kger's, the rest are older and faded. The run around $700 a pair here in the States, in Sweden, probably a bit less, but still big money. Almost all clubs keep using bumpers long after they're a bit worn because of the cost involved.

Thanks to the original poster for offering up that video, it and the rest of the series are very good.

Not quite 88 pounds. He weighed 271 pounds in 1995. He was younger and had much less muscle on his body at that time. He slowly over the years increased his bodyweight to his high 290's (late 90's) to his low 300's, to 330 pounds, to his mid 340's..... He did lose over an inch in height he stated.. Read that he was almost 6'7" in his youth and is about 6'5.5" today.. Heavy weights will do that..

You're welcome and for those with an interest and an attention span, I highly recommend watching the entire documentary all the way through. Truly impressive, as well as inspiring. It was for me.
