After a year of speculation, Ronnie Coleman has announced that he will sit out the big show in September.

"I'm definitely not doing the Olympia," he stated in an e-mail to me.

Now the speculation begins if he will announce his retirement next. At 47 and three years removed from his last competition, it will not be a surprise if 'The King' in fact does hang up the posing trunks for good.

wow.... we had all been following this story closely... wondering, "Is this REALLY the year of the comeback!?"

I'm sure he'll be back next year.
