Explain "Paid for"

How does one "Pay For" a cut in taxes?

It sounds good as a rallying cry, but that's about it.

Cut taxes, cut spending. If you don't you run a deficit. If you run a deficit you have to borrow. If you have to borrow you go into debt.

Sounds pretty simple.

Boehner is my Representative, guy is crazy as a fucking loon.

I like his style though, he reminds me of the type of guy you'd see in the 1950's, he isn't some non smoking pussy either.

You mean small business owners? The same people who create the majority of jobs in America? The same people who would be hit the hardest by a tax increase in their bracket?

LOL i hate beohner but he is right you dont raise taxes in the middle of a recession...and yes you can be for keeping the tax cuts in place and lowering the deficit  ::)

God forbid we expect the govt to limit their spending...no no no the democrats want to raise taxes in order to fund more...LMAO

being against tax raises in this economy is the smart thing to do...whether you want to admit the reps are right or not...its bad fiscal and monetary policy to raise taxes at this time...

and LOL at greenspan dont get me wrong he has forgotten more about economics and finance than I will probably ever know but he was the head of the FED when the economy started to go to shit...

Even john Maynard keynes, the modern day God to the "progressives" on economics, says raising taxes in a recession is wrong.

I get so amused when these liberal ass clowns ask whether the tax cuts are "payed" for or not. Its not a question of "paying" for them. You have very little control over how much revenue you get. Revenue does not deviate much from 20% of GDP. Unfortunately spending deviates a lot.

Don't try telling them that.

Being that the majority of taxes collected are from the middle class...those that make less than $250k per year...makes your statement a bit incorrect.
