Just curious. Mine takes about an hour, maybe 1:15.
-
Between 45-90 minutes.
-
40 minutes, WTF are you people doing that takes so long?
-
1-1 1/3 hours. 40-50 minutes for the main lifts, the rest is ancillary work. If I'm feeling mediocre, I skip that, and just do the main lifts.

Hey, could this be the reason I'm a weakling after working out religiously for six or seven years? ???

35-55 minutes. And that's about four or five exercises, 4x10 reps.

What benefit does anyone have training for more than an hour and more than 4 days a week?More doesnt mean better.

Sure, im not counting cardio in this but I dont do that in the gym, strictly lifting weights anything over an hour is pointless.

Dipending how much shit I talk with people since it's a small gym ran by an enterpreneur people know each other blabla.
Shoulder workout lasts only about 15-20 minutes if I don't talk to anyone.
Leg training for a good over hour... back training well over that
chest/bicep training goes.... maby an hour or 45 minutes
triceps... lol.... 5 hours......... ok no :D
talking shit with people ads a good 5- 10 minutes to the training no matter what though.
-

-
30 minutes without cardio...
bench

haha i fucking hate the "45 minutes in and out" guys, guys who are looking at their time watches after a set not to miss any second or guys who stare the floor counting to "15" for their next "set". all victims of broscience.
-
30 minutes without cardio...
bench
x2 kunt
-
40-60 minutes depending on the split and if I'm resting longer for [lol] 'bigger lifts.' Cardio is usually just 30 mins unless I'm feeling groovy.
-
Arms, 45 mins
Chest, 45 mins-1 hr 45 mins (depending on if old dude is on the dip bar)
Legs, 45 mins
Back, 1 hr
Delts and traps, 45 mins
abs and calves, 45 mins.
-
probs anywhere from 40 - 80mins
-
1 bodypart should never take more than 30 minutes. I can do 12 sets per bodypart no problems within 30 minutes, sometimes 25 minutes. If you're spending 90 minutes in the gym just lifting weights, you're over training + talking too much.
-
1:15
-
45 minutes tops.

Better than the guys stuck on their cell phones or stuck talking with their gym buddies.

30-50 mins

I find most people who sermonize about over-training are either fat or twinks or fat-twinks.

If you don't talk to anybody, and go at a time where nobody is there. You can get your wrkout done in 45 min. Dorian favored this as well. Shawn Ray trained at a fast pace, which is why many couldn't keep up with him. That 2-3 hr bullshit, is if people are talking on the phone, walking around, holding up gym equipment, looking at the women doing cardio, watching sports center, talking about who is on the sauce, and the 30 mins actually doing a wrkout.

i find it very revealing about your intelligence or should i say lack of it regarding overtraining when it is regarded as the no: 1 element to regulate by every sports coach and trainer in every field of sports in the world and studied by sports scientists all over the world as well, yet all this time the answer was known by some guy called hulkotron on getbig as being they are all simply fat, twinks or fat-twinks.
amazing, totally and utterly amazing :o
talking of sarcasm, take this master ass blaster for example - talking about fat/twinks or both ::) the irony in his posts are legendary.

Don't sell yourself short pal, you're pretty legendary yourself as far as fat twinks go.
;)

You could prove me wrong by posting a pic of your physique built with these savage 30-minute full body workouts ::)
-

thats not entirely true. it depends on what style of workout your doing. remember, periodization is king.
heavy, intense, lifting to the point of failure like dorian advocates with progressive overload and few work sets per workout is a great way to train.
but after a while one would benefit from switching over to a high volume workout style staying shy of failure and working on muscular endurance (of course still heavy weights in the 5-15 rep range)

yes i'm sure the thousands of coaches, trainers, scientists, etc are waiting with baited breath on a picture of my physique to prove overtraining doesn't only effect twinks and fat guys.
and all because hulkotron from getbig says so hahahahahahahahahahah priceless
i will need to speak to ron, i think its time he creates a 'special' board for 'special' people like you.
-
Still waiting for the pic.

I can't see any workout taking less than 30 minutes or more than 120. Sure, thats a big gap. If you're workouts take less than 30 minutes, you aren't training enough. If they are taking 2+ hours, what the hell are you doing? :-\
-
30-40 mins. lifting weights
45-60 mins. cardio
-
90minutes
I like to enjoy my workout
-

Overtrain?? Working ONE bodypart per day performing 10-12 sets per bodypart within 25-30 min is far from overtraining. :D

One bodypart = 25-30 min MAX. I only do one bodypart per day, unless it's something like tri's and hams which I put together. 2 bodyparts should never take more than an hour, unless you talk too much.
-
mentzer looked pretty ok for a guy that only worked out for 30 mins at a time.
so did dorian.

yes but weather you really need 10-12 sets per bodypart is the real question ;)

Those aren't 10-12 working sets. More like 7-8 working sets with 3-4 warm up sets. It's only 3 exercises.
-
1h-1h30min

you can get a good workout in 30 minutes if your only doing one body part, and your hitting it HARD with as heavy weight as you can possibly handle in the 5-10 rep range, going to the point of failure and beyond, with 2 or 3 of those intense working sets and 2 or 3 warm up sets and maybe one or two "pump and burn" sets at the end. but most people will need more than 30 minutes to tax their muscles. probably because they arent going in with a set game plan and getting shit done, but theres nothign wrong with an hour or two hour long workout. just know that with increased volume recovery takes a toll and its wise not to mix failure training with volume training. so if your gonna workout for 2 hours never go to failure, and if your working out 30 mins then just do a small amount of sets and all out to failure and beyond.
