I think I saw where Doug Steele has had some shark diving experiences. All I know is I am terrified of those fuckers.

For the love of God... ::) ::) ::) ::) I have been attacked three times and they have told me that i have a better chance at winning the lotto. I do not play the lotto but will always play the lotto with life. It feels like a few hundred Razor Blades in your thigh or wherever you get attacked at. The worse thing about getting attacked is the all the bacteria they leave in your body. I thank God that i still have all my limbs but i will always dive with sharks and i mean always. Sharks to me are absolutely fucking beautiful creatures and they are just big fishes.  :) I will always give money to keep them protected and i hate going to St. Pete and seeing kids catching Bull Sharks and killing them and their babies.  >:( I cannot tell you how many times that i have seen kids cutting open Bull's and throwing their babies out on the road.....sigh...I have dove with the best and the world and yes, it is better then sex!  ;)

Good to hear Doug. I always thought sharks were cool. I used to draw them as a kid. Thresher, Mako, GW, lemon, you name them, I would draw them.

Doug, where the attacks mostly diving or close to shore swimming probably a dumb ass question. Do you know what brought the attacks on meaning something you did to irritate them or maybe you had bait with you.

Lemme make this clear.....I had more then a few run In's when diving or either spear fishing but i just jam them in the gills with the pole and one will leave me alone.  :) Now, i am in their domain and i expect nothing and appreciate and love every second while i am down there.  ;) I have came across deadly Jelly fish, Sea Snakes, Sting rays and yes, i have and still do play with them.  ;) I was just out swimming and got bit on the thigh and one shook my ass.  :) It feels horrible but seeing your blood in the water is the thing that freaks you out because it only last a few seconds.  :) It hurts when you get to the shore and you look out and wait for the ambulance to come and get you or either you can walk to the car and get takin to the E.R.  :-\ I come home from work and sit out there and love every minute of it and if it happens again, it was meant to be. I will never know what made the shark's come to me and if i thought about it, i would go fuckin nuts and i cannot do that. I love the ocean and everything in it and if it does happen again, i understand that it can happen and might happen but i am OK with that.  :) I have had alot of run In's with them while standing on Sand Bars but grabbing their gills will send their ass off and i am able to walk away.  :)

My love for sharks and the ocean is one of the things that keep me going.  :) I will always feel that nothing in the ocean will ever detour me away from going in to it.  :) I love SF1900's pix because i have seen that but i was in a cage though.  8)

Don't get me wrong Doug....I think Sharks are awesome and should be protected and treated with respect...but 100,000 years ago, with the Mega Sharks and our ancestors lapping around in the waves...I think dry ground was the better choice for survival!

For sharks they usually feast upon random fish swimming about in the ocean. Occasionally they get the joys of a Surfer Sammich. While the aftermath is not a good time for the surfer, the shark had one hell of a meal.

That looks more like a White Attack but could be a Bull or Tiger also.  :-\ :-\
