Title: Looking to find an accurate Pedometer
Post by: newmom on August 16, 2010, 05:05:54 AM
I know playboy (I think) or Big Poppa posted a pretty good pedometer. Just looking for one that accurately averages out time per mile and total miles ran. Don't need one with a calorie counter or gps.

Thanks

U of Tennessee tested and rated them back in '05.  Here's what they had to say:

thanks Princess L. Still researching but these three got the best ratings from consumer reports, but I prefer arm or wrist pedometer but may bite the bullet and get on that clips on my hip

If getting the wrist kind, then you'd probably want it to have a heart rate monitor too - that can come in handy.
