There's a moment in my DVD Kai Greene: OVERKILL when Kai is wiped out from his training and Oscar decides to let him skip cardio so he can go back to his hotel room to rest.
Kai turns to Oscar in the car and says these words. It has become a catch phrase among some of my friends when we feel exhausted but know we must push on with whatever we are doing! If you've seen the documentary, you know what I am talking about

Man, have you seen the pics of some of the guys that post here?? Sometimes my feathers get a bit ruffled by comments I read, then I realize the company I'm in and I just laugh it off. I've been a long time lurker here, I come here for entertainment only lol. I totally agree with you though, I'm gonna put that phrase in my bag-o-tricks when I need to find the motivation to do that cardio session...like the one I have in the next hour :'( ;D

Good proffesional boxers train 4 hours (probably more depending who) a day, constant sparring, get bashed up in the face and body, constantly pushing themselves with intense training (sprints etc), waking up at 5am to run 6-10 miles, all in the mean time probably trying to get down to a certain weight with weightlifting and diet too.
And Kai in the mean time eats 6-10x a day, does 1 1/2 hours of lifting and walks on a treadmill for 2 hours. (two 1 hour sessions per day)
People sound as if Kai is the hardest working athlete on the planet lol ::)

Haha, you're putting words in my mouth. I've never said it was a sport, much more like a beauty pageant. It is, however, fucking hard to prep for a show. At my leanest I was still around 20lbs away from being in contest condition, I admire anybody who has the discipline to do it. I mean do it correctly, no the delusional fucks who get up on stage looking 12 weeks out and shit. So yes, I do applaud BBing competitors for the sacrifices they make to get on stage.
