How do you feel about getting scanned like this?

Milwaukee's Mitchell International Airport is the latest to receive the full-body scanners that can capture nearly nude images of travelers.
Critics say the scanners perform "virtual strip searches" because they can see through clothing.
The Transportation Security Administration workers who review the images are in a separate room where they can't see the passengers. The TSA also says the images aren't stored anywhere.
Passengers who don't want to go through the scanners can opt for alternative screening, including a pat-down.
Federal safety officials say the machines are better at detecting suspicious items, and are more effective than walk-through metal detectors and pat-downs.
Homeland Security began installing the scanners at airports nationwide in January.

Those machines DO NOT SHOW you nude, they only show the outline of your body and your body appears dark grey, if you have something to hide it will pop up in the scanner, but anything else wont.

I've never seen that machine give out so precise pictures and even so, you can't identify who it is... The person watching the monitor does not see who goes in it.

Just stay in shape = no problem.

If it means safety for hundreds of thousands of people in the air and land at any given time, I DONT care. I'm not doing anything wrong. However, I do have a problem with someone scanning little kids though (creeps me out). So on the other hand, kids still should be scanned because if they arn't, guranteed some nutjob will plant something on a kid

I agree. As a society this is what we have become.

This thing does not offend me at all. I'd rather have my family on a safe plane than worry about someone's hurt feelings. I know some will see this as a violation of their basic rights, but not me. It's a cold, ugly world out there and we need to do what we can to stay safe and i'm all for it. People don't realise that it's not just about terrorism, but many items become much more dangerous when you are 10 kilometers up in the air... Also children has to be checked as well or else it will became a serious security risk. If someone really believes in their cause, they will NOT hesitate to sacrifice a child. The world keeps changing and we need to keep up. Also these scans are not anything new, i first ran into one over two years ago and even long before that as soon as you set foot to the airport area, docks or allmost any terminal area of anykind your every step was watched and will be. All it takes is just ONE incident and then people will complain that: "how this was possible and who is to blame!"

I got no hassel with it

Had my first experience with it. Didn't like having to stand with my hands over my head, but I couldn't see what they see, or who was looking at me. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Still don't like it.
