Rep. Phil Hare: The Constitution is “Silly Stuff!”

Oh, all of these pesky patriots will just not leave these liberal Democrat Congressman and Congresswomen alone! It’s a wonder that they even venture out of their homes anymore. Accountability to one’s constituents has become such a chore! In this clip, Rep Phil Hare (D-IL) is confronted on camera and asked, “So where in the Constitution does it say that you can force people to buy healthcare?” To which, after much stumbling and an enormous effort to shake the pesky patriot, this man replies, “It’s silly stuff!“ Obviously, his arrogance is such that he is above being questioned and his job so important that he is not responsible to the oath where he promised to protect and defend that very Constitution.
It’s definitely worth mentioning that his conservative opponent is Bobby Schilling.

I don't think he was referring to the Constitution when he made the "silly stuff" comment.
That being said, his cowardice at answering the question is just sad.
