I have a workplace drug test coming up. What kind of things do they test for? Has anyone on cycle ever had one? What about people that smoke weed now and then?

I had one. I think they test for the standard stuff--DEFINITELY marijuana. I am not too sure if they test for gear or anything.

most only do what is referred to as a DOT test......just a standard check test for narcotics......

Fuck. They check for speed. I always wonder what shit they put into bodybuilding stuff. Looks like they can order an extended test for gear.
Basic testing typically screens for the following, commonly-abused drugs.
Amphetamines (speed, meth, crank, ecstasy)
Cannabinoids (marijuana, hash)
Cocaine (coke, crack)
Opiates (heroin, morphine, opium, codeine)
Phencyclidine (PCP)
Extended testing might also screen for some or all of the following, but basic testing is the most common.
Barbiturates (phenobarbital, butalbital, secobarbital)
Benzodiazepines (tranquilizers like Valium, Librium, Xanax)
Ethanol (ethyl alcohol, booze)
Hallucinogens (LSD, mushrooms, mescaline, peyote)
Inhalants (paint, glue, hair spray)
Anabolic Steroids (synthesized, muscle-building hormones)

Do they tell you ahead of time what they are testing for? I wonder if ECA can trigger a speed test.

they usually dont tell you, but when you take the test and sign for it it says what kind of test it is on the paper.....and no, eca will not trigger the speed test...

They did not tell me. They told me the date and time to show up, and that was it.

On the ECA thing, most will ask what Prescription and OTC drugs you are taking for various illnesses, Ephedrine is still sold over the counter for various breathing and cold related problems, so just tell them to note it on the paperwork:).

Nice. I'm going to go cold turkey until the test which can be in the next 30 days. Kind of sucks, my workouts are going to take a beating, but it's worth it.

100% they are not testing for gear.
if you smoke now and then, stop now. start drinking gallons of water everyday. pm for details.

Unless it's a hair sample test ( In which case your fucked unless you have been completely drug free for 6 months- 1 year) you should have absolutely nothing to worry about unless you've smoked pot recently-- as long as you've been clean for 10 days (max) from other recreational drug use.
Unless your in some sort of law enforcement job or some corporate gig that is anal retentive about drug testing I highly doubt steroids will be tested for.

I have taken multiple tests on the juice and never come back positive. I was worried about ECA and speed too, so I did exactly what you said and just noted it. As far as weed goes, I smoked KB's the night before two different tests and took "the liquid stuff" the next day as directed on the bottle and no probs at all. Last one was about 6 years ago. I think it cost about 20 or 30 bucks back then.

I was peaking at the computer when she put my info in. it was called a NON-DOT 5 screen test.

The NON-DOT 5 panel screen test usually just checks for: Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines, Opiates and PCP.
