Title: Gold's Gym Venice funny/war stories? I love the south bay!
Post by: tallgerman on September 04, 2010, 09:41:28 PM
I once had a membership with Gold's venice back in mid 2000s and wow some funny shit went on there.

It was so funny having leathery older steroid dudes do some kinda met rx or some shit promos be sitting at table out front and give me a nice t shirt but kinda look through me like I'm nothing.  I appreciated the t shirt but it seemed like the guy was like the cougar at the club trying too hard to be cool.  I am super tall so really beefy guys must look down on me as not hardcore enuf.  Totally hysterical.   I also loved the fake tits bodybuilder gals, although I could never get one into bed damn.  They seemed to be looking for older sugar daddies to pay for them.  Loved the big fake tits though.  Many looked like they were on roids.  Similar were the taller fitness model gals that trained hard, as if to try and convince everyone that this training not nip tuck and liposuction where why they had cut abs, or at least 98% of why.   They looked good but a bit manly for me kinda like steroided up volleyball girls do down here in the south bay.

that brings me to the south bay

if you are living on the west side get out now and move to hermosa beach

way easier to get laid nonstop as I do and in general be less aggro about parking and less wana be trustfund babies or chicago holywood actmatics like santa monica .

Venice might be fun but seemed too dangerous and dirty for me.

I will say back about gold thought that I was way more inspired to workout by the people I saw in there.

There was one tall dude who was way ripped me and a pal called superman, he was like 6-6 about my height but looked like a volleyball guy who had mega arms.   Not quite as powerful in hips as NFL guy but he looked way better.  Who knows maybe he was a offensive end or something but he had the arnold cut chest n shit.  totally how I wana end up looking.

awesome shit.

Golds was not too inundated with homies liek 24 fitness in hermosa, not with the "Ima mixed martial artist" guys with tats from orange county.

I loved golds; such comedy.  The 24 fitness in southbay has few big guys and tons of homies, houswives, and some benders.

I really think its time for a gym reality show.

You know what thie isn't about me, it's about gold's venice.
Replacing my insult trades with stories:

In 05 went down to Gold's venice, my friend was a trainer from Italy who could get me in from time to time.

There was a black guy probly late 30s with huge V back but normal legs, just a crazy upper body....working on this leverage bench right next to the beginning of the stair machines in the middle of room2......and I said to him damn man you got a crazy upper body, I have been working out 3 times a week but don't seem to be getting the progress I want......and he said "It because you come 3 times a week"  which shut me up quick!
He was older and ripped and when i commented on that asking if he did aerobics he said "This is my aerobics" pointing at the leverage bench.

What are "banders"?

misspelled 'bender'
English term for a guy who likes it in the ass.
