With all the mismanagement of funds in Yele...do Haitians really want Wyclef as President with Billions in Foreign Aid coming to the country during rebuilding efforts? Or is it the Duvaliers all over again with access and no accountants to this kind of funding?

Stepping down from Yele is peanuts vs the Head of State stuff.

He may do some good...I don't think he is doing it for power. But as the saying goes, "The road to he'll is paved with good intentions..."

He owns Telemax. Head of State with controlling interest in TV station. 250 of NP funds used on a float, and another 250K for bogus commercials on his TV station. Paid himself 100k for a concert from NP funds. Now...people argue that Elton John charges 1M for benefit concerts. His studio charges the NP for kitchen space office in which he hires a cook with the funds. anyway...i'm not big on his history but this is a mistake. They havent gotten over Papa and Bebe. I see them in a unique situation where they would need a UN type govt for the next 20yrs before they could elect a private leader. Plus several sub-groups which were suppose to receive support from Yele after 10M in donations since the quakes havent received anything. anyway...
