Yet you live in Canada, a country that specifically outlaws freedom of speech, arrests people for political commentary and bends over backward to accomadate Islamic terrorists that refuse to assimiliate with your country's customs. TRUTH isn't even a defense to defamation in Canada.

As usual you miss the point, which is that the west is supposed to be civilized and above such petty shit. Can you honestly say that Christians/Americans/westerners have never murdered poeple? What about Vietnam? How many blacks were strung up by trees in the south or dragged behind trucks? How about the civillian bombing during ww2? The crusades?
There are assholes in every religion, I just expected better than my neighbours from the south. Also, I am not American but if I saw someone burning the American flag I would be offended because a country's flag is a symbol of their freedom, I would even try to stop it if I could and I would hope that an American would do the same if someone was burning the Canadian flag.

Nobody would care if someone burned a Canadian flag and hence, nobody would burn a Canadian flag in the first place because Canada is irrelevant.

I liken this to the South Park episode about Mohammed that got censored a few months ago. South Park spent a decade bashing Christians and Jews in every episode without ever getting censored. Then the second they DARE make an episode about Mohammed, well shit, the censors come out and the entire episode gets cut into pieces by the PC crowd. And the best part is that they didn't even bother to edit out the Buddha blowing coke. Why is that? Probably because Buddhists aren't likely to start blowing everyone up and chopping heads off every time you criticize them. ::)

Clearly you don't know much about Canada, We have a charter of human rights that gives everyone freedom to practice religion, we don't arrrest people for expressing their opinion, hell Anne Coulter did a speaking tour in Canada and even commented that she felt safer in liberal Canada because here people let her discuss her views even if they did not agree. Also and American saying our beer is shitty ? that's like sookie calling Angelina jolie ugly ;)

I am not Christian, but if I saw someone discriminating against a Chirstian or burning the bible I would do my best to stop them and would be offended, no one should be discriminated against Christian, muslim or Jew.

What's worse? Burning some books or calling for a man's beheading? That's where we should be directing our attention, not at some silly book burning that's in bad taste. And for what it's worth, most people in this country have denounced this book burning as it will do more harm than good.

It seems like a small church wants some publicity and is willing to put soldiers at risk to achieve it. How brave they are to gather in Florida and in spite of a high ranking military official warning them it could cause undo harm to american soldiers abroad, will go ahead with their spiteful protest.
I compare it to a bunch of teenagers in an area of safety, throwing rocks at the lions in the zoo exhibit while a zookeeper is in with the lions.. Just sayin...

These hypersensitive baboons use any and every excuse to get riled up and murder people who don't agree with them. I don't think our troops are any more at risk after this than after anything else done that "offends" people that are beyond stupid and backward.
How is this stunt any more likely to put our troops at risk than the Wikileaks disaster, the South Park controversy, the Israeli peace talks, the controversy over the ground zero mosque, the fury sparked by the danish cartoon of Mohammad and any other number of things that have gone on lately?
These animals only understand force and might. I don't think that some middle of nowhere church holding a book burning does anything to help or hurt America in the long run. However, the idea of caving to the pressure of what these pieces of shit might do, makes me support it all the more. Half of the problems we experience with "Islam" today stems from us bending over backwards not to offend them. It makes us look weak and cowardly especially since we don't afford the same level of reverence to any other religion. We do it because we are afraid of them-- point blank. And this fact only makes them bolder in their demands and violent actions against us. They figure that the more they complain and kill people, the more afraid the West will be. The sad part is that they are right. But if we took a hard stance and stopped flushing our ideals down the toilet for these pieces of Camel dreck they would know what the score was and that they could not intimidate or manipulate us into censorship.
