One thing you learn if you've seen a few celebrities in the flesh: you never know what to expect, some of them look exactly as they do on screen, some absolutely not and some are in between. No real rule about it but most of the time it's disappointing.

Very few women, even supermodels, look good without makeup, hairspray and well-chosen clothes. Beyonce isn't all that great, as you say, but neither are a lot of women in Hollywood, on the runaway, in magazines and on the internet. It all comes down to camouflage.
