I workout all the time. I am 6-6 310 and played offensive and defensive end in high school. Played tons of intramural hoops and am a natually good swimmer as I grew up doing it, mostly at 250lbs which I am cutting down to now. Did you ever play any sports?

I guess I was excited because I thought those bulletins were lost forever.
Awesome that they are online FREE.

I read the two original white papers/bulletins by Art Jones. Probably when I was 18 or 19. Excellent source of applied theory concerning training. Might suggest every potential serious BB'er take a glance at either of them , if given the chance. Straight to the point stuff in #1 & #2. And common sense.
Had a chance to work with a whole line of Nautilus equipment (before the gym went belly up..main reason was the gym owner let his "buddies" workout free...can't run a business that way). Used the original hip and back machine, pullover machine, shoulder machine, etc. That nautilus cam was indeed something else. The information on the points of leverage/force is well worth the reading time alone. One or two sets on any Nautilus machine could be the match for most men. True, Viator was the exception among the workout beast. A lot of physical rehab equipment is based on the Nautilus design. Which I believe Jones made most of his money off of.
Can easily apply Jones ideas to the common BB/DB, chinning or dipping bar. Try not confusing the majority of Mentzer's ideas with the original concepts of Jones. Crack, crank, AD, crystal or whatever you want to call it, really did plow under Mike Mentzer. Good Luck.

It's a little difficult NOT to connect the original concepts of Arthur Jones with Mike Mentzer just for the shear fact that Mentzer spent almost all of his time and writing efforts in adopting and espousing them...
-
Maybe at the beginning of his quest, but Mentzer began tweeking Jones ideas to fit his own needs as years went by. Stepping further away from Jones the original concepts. And even his own. When Mentzer's mind began to slowly fade to back nothing was ever the same. Confirmed by even his brother Ray, I had heard.
Personal view is the Mike Mentzer had one of the most exceptional body's in BB'ing, past or present. Ray Mentzer was no slouch either. Good German genetics and less the low volume drugs used back than? Good Luck.
