Read about this today. Of course the teachers did nothing and nowhere in their permission slip did it say they would be praying. It said they would observe a prayer. Not to mention all the blanket Islamic supremacist statements and lies spouted out by that woman. Better start indoctrinating them to Sharia while they're young. ::)

WTF is a school doing when it allows its students to take a field trip to a religious service?
Someone should get fired for this.
-
So let me get this right, you can't say the pledge of allegiance, because of "on nation under God". But facing Mecca and praying to allah is A-OK.
-
Can you imagine if they took some Muslim students to a church and had them praying? It'd be World War III. :-\

Seems to be the case.

Liberals would have never let that happen.
Many Liberals like islam, because islam wants to destroy Christianity and Judaism

They'll be the ones screaming, "But I defended you! I said you were peaceful and tolerant!" when their heads are on the chopping block. ::)
Liberals are the most useful idiots for the supremacists.

Exactly.
They are the true definition of a useful idiot.

Most on the far left view america as the great satan and view muslims as fellow travelers who will assist in taking down the nation.

Absolutely!!! Someone was definitely asleep at the wheel.
No way should those students have been permitted to take part in the prayer service.. of any religion.
I wonder why the parent who taped the incident and who chaperoned didn't say anything at the time.
I assume her son was among those prostrate on the carpet, facing Mecca?

doesnt say if her son was or wasnt but she said it seemed like nobody said anything b/c they didnt want to offend anyone...
mooooslims tend to get quite agitated when you unintentionally offend them ;)

Oh fuck that, she needed to say something or at the very least walk out of the dam place with her son in tow.
I would have said something and caused a scene if needed. This whole thing is very fishy

agreed seems like she went along b/c she knew something like this would take place and thats why she didnt do anything...
not that any of that matters the shitty part is that a school would actually put its students in this situation

Look at this way, they are allowed to pray to God, Allah is just a name for God...so what about that seperation of Church and State? What about not getting into religion in school? That is the real question...
***Because I can't see the vid, due to being at work, I can't tell if the kids are in a religious private school.

Okay, I remember when I was student teaching, we had to refrain from dealing with or talking about religion...
-
Did any of you guys watch this all the way through ?
There's a woman on the stage telling them how Islam is the only true religion. On top of that, she's saying how much more advances the Islamic world is in it's treatment of women, how women could vote in the Islamic world a thousand years before it was possible in the states. Then they get the girls to leave so the boys can pray.
This isn't a visit to a mosque to observe - this is indoctrination.

i'd kick the crap outta someone

I just don't understand. How were permission slips not sent out. Yeesh, I had to fill out 2 page slip just to let little one go to a farm for apple and pumpkin picking next week
-
kids have to sign permission slips just to listen to the presidents speech. A silly vanilla speech on the importantce of staying in school, working hard, etc. We listened to the presidents speech all the time as a kid in school - it's nonpartisan... you just listen to the president speack because it's a part of history. it's current events.
THIS field trip, i'd be ninja kicking someone down some steps if my kid was forced to attend ANY religious event. Particularly one where they are 'selling' a certain faith.
-
can I ask a stupid question. Were kids allowed to watch the 9/11 events in the classroom? Would parents be ticked off or happy if they were or were'nt allowed.
I remember the release of hostages on tv in school.

locally - elementary schools completely did not tell kids ANYTHING on 9/11.
even tho parents yanked 1/3 of the kids from the classroom.
middle school (i was teaching that on that day), we let them watc an hour in the AM, then were told to turn off tvs all day. parents came and got their kids all day, all local govt was shut down, etc.
high school - I dunno.

How do you think is was in NYC that day 240? I had the guns loaded, car full of gas, etc.
BTW - I got caught in that tornado last night in Queens. I had night court and saw the tree that smashed that poor lady to death on the parkway. It was awful. That car was a damn pancake. It took me hours to go 15 miles from Queens back to the bronx.

Yeah, and it hit with almost no notice. It was crazy.
Seeing that car that was smashed by the tree with the lady in it was awful. It stopped traffic both ways cold.

Boston public school apologizes for allowing students to pray in mosque
WELLESLEY -- Wellesley's school superintendent apologized yesterday for allowing middle school pupils to participate in a prayer service during a field trip to a Roxbury mosque last spring.
The apology to parents was made after a group that has been critical of Islamic Society of Boston Community Center -- New England's largest mosque and Muslim cultural center -- released a 10-minute video featuring footage of Wellesley pupils bowing their heads during a prayer service.
The group, Americans for Peace and Tolerance, received the footage from a mother of one of the pupils, its director, Dennis Hale, said yesterday. The woman, whom they would not identify, went on the May 27 trip as a chaperone for her son's sixth-grade class, he said.
Superintendent Bella Wong said yesterday that allowing the children to participate in the prayer service was a mistake, and apologized to parents in a letter.
Five middle schoolers participated in the Muslim midday prayer at the mosque, she said. Some can be seen in the video imitating some of the movements.
"It was not the intent for students to be able to participate in any of the religious practices,'' Wong said. "The fact that any students were allowed to do so in this case was an error.''
A community center spokesman said no one from the organization asked the pupils to participate in the prayers.
"Certainly in our tours we do not invite kids to take part, but if someone wants to come pray and take part, we shouldn't prevent them,'' said Bilal Kaleem, president of the Muslim American Society of Boston, which manages and runs the cultural center. "It's more an issue with the school.''
Kaleem said that the cultural center offers tours and that Wellesley educators had set up the field trip.

Now the school has apologized for allowing this to happen, and that's fine -- but why isn't anyone calling the Islamic Society of Boston to account for its role in making this happen as well? Or is it simply understood that they will try to convert Americans to Islam by hook or by crook whenever possible, and no one can expect them to adhere to basic rules of civility or decency in doing so?

Because this is the plan. They want this to occur.
Remember that thread you posted yesterday about Sharia?

Yup. And the the apologists tell me I'm a bigot and just trolling. Now we've got people on both sides of the aisle acknowledging what many have been saying for a while; that stealth jihad is a very real and dangerous concept.
