Title: Wisconsin Senate (Ras): Johnson (R) 51%, Feingold (D) 44% (Surging Johnson)
Post by: James on September 17, 2010, 07:50:31 AM
After a decisive win in Tuesday’s Republican Primary, businessman Ron Johnson now holds a seven-point lead over incumbent Democrat Russ Feingold in Wisconsin’s U.S. Senate race.

The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Voters shows Johnson picking up 51% support, while Feingold earns the vote from 44%. One percent (1%) of voters prefer some other candidate, and four percent (4%) remain undecided.

Its getting worse for the Dems and if you look at the polls with likely voters, the spread grows even further.

You are not alone.  We only have about 4 Republicans in the State House and Senate and about 46 Democrats.  Both our U.S. senators are Democrats.  We have one Republican Congressman.  We've had a Republian governor for the last eight years, but she was the first one in more than 40 years.

Regarding the polling, it's good to see Boxer in a dog fight.  I'm still upset about how she disrespected that general.  She is a walking advertisement for term limits.
