Justin Butler was one of the Bear River Bruins' star football players, according to friends and coaches.
Neighborhood Students at Bear River High School were stunned after learning one of their star players died early Monday morning.
Justin Butler, 16, was found by his parents in his home Sunday night after somehow becoming entangled in a Bowflex exercise machine. They called 911 and began performing CPR, and emergency crews rushed him by helicopter to a hospital.
Butler died Monday morning.
The death of the Bear River student athlete sent shock waves through the school. Friends described Butler as an avid football player who loved stepping on the field and making big plays, and filled his Facebook page with messages of love and grief.
"We definitely suffered a great loss here, both as a school and as a community," said school athletic director Duwaine Ganskie. "When you saw him come off the field after scoring that touchdown last week, you just see the joy in his face."
School administrators say they will have grief counselors on campus Tuesday to speak with staff and students.

No idea. I sold the goofy ass things for 5 yrs, company I worked for carried Nautilus and they are/were owned by the same parent company. I'd say there will be an investigation.

Looks like the guy was big in to training and was trying to find new ways to achieve maximum pump in his neck, either that or he got his bowflex off craigslist and when he went picked it up and saw fat pumpster he realised Bowflex would turn him in to an obese balding man/woman hybrid, the request to become friends and microphone each other just pushed him over the edge.

I heard this happens very often, kid chokes himself jacking off and die, parents see them dead, put their dicks back in their pants, zip it back up , turn off the porn and call it an accident or suicide.
