Hello
I am not bodybuilding seriously, I have a set of dumbbells and a bar at home and train from time to time.
I just want to look OK. However my problem is my abdominal muscles. They are quite tense and I feel no fat on them, however they are sticking out a bit. I read somewhere that there could be fat lying underneath the abdominal muscles.
This is also quite strange, because my fat levels elsewhere on the body are quite reasonable. Is there a specific way to target this kind of fat, and what could be causing it?

Stats?
A potruding belly(even if muscular) can have many causes - lack of height, bad posture, bloating, disease.
A buddy of mine was very athletic and lean but also pretty short - he had one heck of a gut when he didn't hold it in.
-
GH gut.
-
Well my stats are not very impressive:
5.7"
150 lbs
I have been having stomach problems for the last few years could this have some kind of connection?
I don't use steroids or supplements.
-
I doubt that you have a problem with visceral fat- that is, if you are as "lean" as you are alluding to be.
Get your bodyfat levels checked first, then we can talk about that protruding gut.
-
OK so how do I get it checked? I have to go to my doctor for this? How is it done?

Uhhhhhhhhh....
just go to your nearest gym and ask the first wanna-be-know-everything-trainer that fags up to you.
Or just Google it. You can spend some bills on BF tests if you get the immersion one goin' on.

my gut was once mistaken for the death star.
they loled muchly until a high energy particle beam erupted from my belly button and disintegrated their face. 8)

Anything yet?
Not serious?
Let's hear it...
-
Too lazy to do it as I said before I am not very serious into bodybuilding, I train at home.
When I have more time I'll ask at the local gym.
