from the beggining you could see mirko was just afraid to go for the kill, he needs to fights like a hungry man again but oh well, in his age, its hard to get this feeling back, he just doesnt need it anymore.
The announcers kept saying the same things........but what about Mir? Nobody thinks he should have been more aggressive? He was scared to engage unless he was going for a bear hug up against the cage. ::)

Basically this fight was to determine which fighter was washed up less.

mir was holding he agression too but it seemed it was part of a plan, not product of fear. And he was pressing the action and going foreward all the time.
Yeah, right up against the cage to wait for the ref to break them again. ::)

and how did the fight end? look, sports are, before being a form of entertainment, a game. Strategy plays the biggest whole and sometimes patience is the key. Anyway, my point was that Mirs attitude during the whole fight seemed deliberated while Mirkos not.
The fight ended with Mirko chasing Mir into the cage and Mir throwing a knee.....you should have watched the fight, you would have known that. :)

not sure what the problem with mirko is.
maybe its age, but only three years ago, he was won of the top heavies in the world.
he hasnt recovered since gonzaga.
