Those last 5-6 days due to my work, im able to sleep only for like 3 hours everynight.
The strange thing is that i dont feel lethargic during the day and im actually MORE active and energetic than sleeping for 8+hours. STRONGER on all my lifts in the gym too. I feel great with little sleep. I dont even have the need for "naps" during the day.
I wonder why is that, has anyone got similar experiences? Am i going to crash and this fun will end soon....?

same here. 3-4 hours and I wake up feeling alert for the first time in my life.
But I cant stay up that long because I lose a shitload of weight just being awake and not eating all the time lol.

Stress hormones. Humans evolved to be on the move in times of plenty. Just gotta convince your brain that you need to slow down.
I slept for 2 hours friday night it wasnt until about 9 oclock that evening that I did the math just felt like a regular day.

Do you workout at night? When I workout too late (like I have today; leg training at 9 PM) I'm not able to sleep until 3-4AM, no chance in hell. :-\ Then it's also 3-4 hrs per night for me. On non-training days I sleep like a baby most of the time.

sober for almost 3 years. But I consider getting back on the juice every single week just to get my energy levels back up. (unfortunately I got a better physique and look without juice)

Genetics I guess. Sleep is overrated.
But the modern studies also show that the old recommondations of 8 hrs sleep were bullshit. 5 hours of good quality sleep per day should be enough to get all the repair work done in the body.

yeah, my grandma has the same thing....we also have resting heartbeats of around 125bpm......but low blood pressure at the same time...people alway tell me thats bad for me, but my grandma is in her 90's with no health problems to speak of so i think i am alright...

um...yeeeeahhh...im gonna have to...sort of...disagree, with you on that one :P
i literally need minimum 9-10 hours of sleep to feel 100%. if i get only say, 6 hours then have to force myself up in the morning, i feel like crap throughout the day. maybe its just me...im a light sleeper
one thing ive noticed is that everyone is different as to the Quality of sleep they get; some people sleep like rocks the instant they hit the pillow until they wake up in the morning. no interruptions, no tossing and turning, just pure deep sleep. maybe these people only 'need' 4-5 hours, cause their sleep is pure unstopped quality, whereas those like me lay down, spin for 1-2 hours, sleep 2 hours, get up to piss, spin another hour, get to sleep again, wake up and spin for another hour, etc...over a period of 10 hours only about 5 is actual quality sleep.

I was like that when I was working nightshift. I couldn't sleep more than 4 hours in the day time. But I was fine, until the weekend came, which I slept through basically.

As for the sleep: As has been noted, you can continue like this for a few days, then you will crash. Some people tolerate less sleep better than others.
The adrenaline will give your body an alerted feeling and make you very clear and awake.

Now be sure to get 8-10 hours quality sleep, NO sleeping aids!!!
Best will be to relax on the weekend, make a few walks outside in the daytime when the sun is shining and get to bed early.
Be careful because sleep deprivation is very harsh on the immune system.

Did you lose recently?..I lost thirty pounds and after that I had the same thing happen to me...couldn't sleep and was full of energy the next day...could be your metabolism has speeded up and u are hyper...
