Ah, Rocky III.....Clubber Lang and Thunderlips.....I can't tell you how many times I've seen this movie.

Clubber Lang was based on Muhammad Ali wasn't he.

Klaus I think you are thinking of Apollo Creed.  He was based on Ali.

Watch the original.  I'd say Apollo was based on Ali.

Mr. T won some boxing contests before RockyIII.  He had that personality.  I think Clubber was 100% Mr. T.

Kimbo was today's Mr. T.  He should have gone into boxing.
