Title: Limitations ?
Post by: Cleanest Natural on October 07, 2010, 04:13:37 AM
We use 3 % of our DNA, less than 10 % of our brain capacity and 4 % of our physical capacity (athletes use 10 %)

The brain and DNA discussions are better be left alone on getbig  ;D

So what about the 90 + % of our physical ability we do not use ?

Please feel free to tell me how I can use that 90% I'm not currently using...

I would be more than happy to use that in gym tomorrow when I do legs - would amaze people there  ;D

well, to be honest with you, do you care about developing harmonious muscular legs ? or what other males think of you based on how much you lift ?

I used to laugh at myself sometimes thinking how retarded I was for pushing the "weight" envelope in the gym to impress others ( males... as the few females cannot tell the difference between 300 and 600 lbs on a bar nor do they care).

I could have gone moderate, get better gains and stay injury free. But no .... I had to be Conan !  ::)

Well Conan, I have lower back pains even from fucking nowadays or walking home with grocery bags. And to be frank, I am not sure if any of the other dudes in the gym remember me in reverence nowadays because  was pushing "massive" weights 10-15 years ago  :-\

For starters gypsies are known to skim about 30 percent off the top. So get back to me when you have a final solution for that issue.

Very few girls can tell the difference, sometimes is worthy go heavy (for our ego) ;D, but most times for the girls it does not matter how much do you lift. So, is better stay away from injuries.

less than 10 % of our brain capacity

Do you do ANY of your own research or do you blindly follow whatever crap some idiot is spouting, who has found a way to make easy money off simpletons like yourself? The only using 10% of the brain thing is such a load of shit yet people still spout it.Try and do some reading for YOURSELF for once.

Everything your body doesn't need he gets rid of. If you'd use only 10 % of your brain your brain wouldn't be it's actual size, but only 10 % of it.

90% of our athletic abilities r left on the shelve?

That would mean that our Norf kakalaki friend "TruAdons" should deadlift 225 for 1008 reps. Lol

Well, there are stories of an old grandma suddenly lifting a car because one of their grandchildren was trapped beyond and stuff like that.

You can access those abilities only on high levels of Adrenaline.

The idea that we only use 10% of our brain is a myth.

http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=people-only-use-10-percent-of-brain

Though an alluring idea, the "10 percent myth" is so wrong it is almost laughable, says neurologist Barry Gordon at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore. Although there's no definitive culprit to pin the blame on for starting this legend, the notion has been linked to the American psychologist and author William James, who argued in The Energies of Men that "We are making use of only a small part of our possible mental and physical resources." It's also been associated with to Albert Einstein, who supposedly used it to explain his cosmic towering intellect.

The myth's durability, Gordon says, stems from people's conceptions about their own brains: they see their own shortcomings as evidence of the existence of untapped gray matter. This is a false assumption. What is correct, however, is that at certain moments in anyone's life, such as when we are simply at rest and thinking, we may be using only 10 percent of our brains.

"It turns out though, that we use virtually every part of the brain, and that [most of] the brain is active almost all the time," Gordon adds. "Let's put it this way: the brain represents three percent of the body's weight and uses 20 percent of the body's energy."

If you want to explore different areas of your mind try psychedelic drugs. If you've never tried them, you're missing out. There's a whole new dimension inside your mind. You just gotta open up the door and walk in. Through psychedelics. They weren't put on earth for nothing. And they don't do what they do for nothing.
