Dan is a super nice guy and very well-spoken. His English is clear and comprehensible. He took some flak on getbig for having small arms and while it is true that they are small for his height compared to some of the other pros [Dan is over six feet], it can't be said that they are small in absolute terms. Dan's arms are between 20-21" and they look huge in person, if not in pictures next to shorter bodybuilders with bigger arms.
Dan is 24 and has a long time left in bodybuilding if that is what he wishes to pursue. I purchased a copy of his DVD [trailer below] which I will review and post at a later date.

How did this guy get the nickname BIG Dan Hill. Its not that his arms are small, its just an all around shitty physique.

How ironic you promote the use of pirated software which is cheating companies out of their money, but have a hard on against steroids.
You must have an inner battle in your mind going on the size of WWII.

Thanks for the lead. Since using the program is technically for business, I would want to buy an official copy. I think if you buy it you would get a free 30 day trial so I could always check it out that way and if it is a good program I will keep it.
Anything would have to be better than Movie Maker. Don't get me wrong, Movie Maker is ok, but if I do more interviews or videos in the future I would want them to be as high quality as the ones on MD and RXMuscle.

Did you make that picture? It is honestly one of the best photoshops I have ever seen on here. I have altered pictures slightly, but just using paint so they are crap quality. Some of my friends are familiar with photoshop and some other programs which I hope to learn with their help.

Lol, man I need to learn how to do these. Some of the photoshop contests I've seen on threads have me in stitches.

Dan told me off-camera and also mentioned in the interview that freaky mass bodybuilding is more of an American thing and that the European shows consist more of freaky conditioning.
Bodybuilding obviously has niche appeal, but I wonder if it would have slightly more appeal in its niche circles if the bodybuilders today were more concerned about looking their best rather than being as big and as shredded as possible. Jay was obviously bigger and more shredded in 2009 than in 1999 at the Ironman, but did he look better? Jay previously said his best conditioning ever was at that show although I have no pictures of it.

Wide dude for sure. His arms are pretty big but lack that "pop".

That's true. I don't want to sound like Dan doesn't need to make improvements, but I think some perspective is important, mainly his height and his age. He is 24 and these days people are not turning pro until 30+.

you should look in to adobe premier elements, same company that does photoshop. it cost only like 80dollars and is one of the most popular video editing programs

I will definitely check that out, thanks. I felt that Movie Maker was very user friendly, it just didn't have as many options as I would like. I could be wrong, but I am guessing that once you learn the format of making videos and create a template, that it's kind of a breeze from there. This is all dependent on whether or not I will pursue creating videos, but I am leaning towards yes on that.

Should link to CS5 as its been out for months now and is FAR better than cs4, however for a guy like Matt C who wants ease of use with the same power as Premiere CS5 then its Sony Vegas all the way, get Vegas 9 Pro or wait 2 weeks and get the 10th version. The other big hitter of the 3 is Avid, James Cameron even used it to edit the final cut of Avatar but really its no better than Premiere or Vegas but just easier to get jobs with as its the industry standard. If you have the misfortune of having a Mac then use final cut pro.

Keep in mind Dan was 23 at the time of this photo:

We were talking a little about body weight and in the video he said the most he ever sees himself competing at would be 280-285. I think even if he could add three pounds of muscle a year, that would be 18 pounds of pure mass by the time he's 30. Hardly insignificant.

oh yea this guy, the one whose wife's boob job
