Sadly I cannot and feel like a cur.
Probably 100 pushups and 10 100m sprints a day would massively increase my conditioning.

50 pushups in 1 year, yes.

I am very confident I could drop at any moment and do 50 push-ups. This is in part due to training with weights and in part due to all the push-ups required from the time I spent in the army. Yes, even signal operators have to do PT. ;D I can't say for certain how many I can do now, but at my best I was doing something like 84 although I can't remember. 50 I'm sure would be no problem.

True words. In basic and advanced I would always hear guys claiming a million pushups. When you watched them they never went all the way down. 65 full range of motion pushups in one minute is rare.
Army recruiters were at the broadwalk by me and they set up a fitness challenge. I would see these young guys trying to beat the daily pushup record doing pushups that looked like they were bobing their head up and down while barely bending their arms. Of course the recruiters would praise these clowns hoping they would sign up.

Very true. A few months ago the Air Force mandated that all physical training assessments be conducted by civilians, and they really stress the full ROM in the push-up portion of the test.(Bastards) Well with that being, I still managed to knock out 59 push-ups(1min time limit), 57 sit-ups(1min time limit), and huff 'n puffed my fat ass on the 1.5 mile run in 10mins 30secs.

hahaha my ROM on a pushup might be 1" right now. Pushups were favortie exercise in high school. I woudl do 100 without stopping before I went to bed almost every night. I have a friend since I was 8 that told me just the other day that he still does 1000 jump ropes, 1000 situps everyday without missing a day even when he is sick. He has been doing it since high school 30 years ago. He has a 6 pack still and actually weighs 2 pounds lighter than he did in high school. Incredible shape and condition

I think I got around 43 once! Doubt I can do that now.. Dunno.... What abour repping 135 for as many as you can - I got it for 37 once, here's the vid -- but I'll openly admit... terrible ROM

Of course I'm a getbigger. I can do 856 pushups with my super model wife on my back in my 4000sq ft. home gym. My butler counts the reps. I would like to get past 900 but my head looks small when my arms get over 25 inches.

I used to do these at home all the time = between ad breaks and all through the day. Now I reckon I would honestly struggle to get more than 15 with proper form.

Anyone can do pushups with their feet on a bench, does more upper chest yes, but not a special move by any means. Also doesn't anyone touch their chest on the floor or even close? If that were a bench press it would be the worst range of motion ever!

I had to do push ups for a fitness assessment at work about 2 weeks ago. I did 50, I could have done a few more, but not many. Our range of motion on the bottom stopped when your chest touched the counter's fist, which was obviously on the floor.
