by the fact that we always turn it into a black vs. white thing, we show that we have a physical inferiority complex

my Bar-barian team mate Zef is way stronger:

I'll never be able to all this functional strength stuff...blows my mind. Bout all I've done are regular chins (when much lighter) and weighted dips. Aside from that these people pwn MOS.

Thats your problem. You think you would never be able to do it, but you can. Instead of being bulky, you can be in shape, have some size, and perform these so called "feats",
like the feat of completing a 400 m in record time, feels better than being bulky and doing cardio.

True, if I really wanted to be able to do these things I might be able to do some of them in time, but I just prefer being built more like a pl. I still respect what these people do though. I know a few guys at my gym that practice this stuff and they tell me the same things, "c'mon big man, you could do this with us in time." Much like bullriding, I'm sure I could do that too, but I'd rather press the bull than ride it.....that's just me.

How is your BP, cholesterol? Things like that have to be taken in account when lookig like a PL. I think the best of both worlds can be accomplished
I remember one day, I was on the track and a National level (I was later told by someone else) sprinter was there. He tore thru the 200 m and the 400 like it was nothing. It blew my mind for someone to be that fast, consistantly. Dude was cut the hell up. But was built as well.
When you lighter and built the manueverability factor is off the meter, it's like a feeling akin to being Spiderman...try it one time and then bulk back up, if you don't like it. The other plus side is that you get that defined square jaw look.

no he's not unless black guys would have already dominated gymnastics, now they're only good at running?

haha, Crazy black man genes. Probably eats like shit, but has a 26" waist, big arms with 4%bf. Hey, at least they have baby calves and usually shitty legs. ;D

In the 2nd video I posted he does shit with weights and bicycle, does it slow, no momentum using as those black blocks do

It just prooves your ghetto/white trash. To the rest of the world this is just as pathetic as muslims that argue who smells worse paki's or afghan's.
-

you're not making any sense, the clip of Zef I posted shows much better strength. Now if you're pointing out the fact that there are white gymnasts that are stronger than both, well yeah obviously. The thing is the dude you posted isn't even as strong as a novice gymnast, whereas Zef has better pulling strength than many expert non ring men.
The race is pretty much a nonissue though, I'm only responding to show you that your white supremicist rhetoric makes no sense in the realm of bodyweight strength
-
Using your legs is over-rated anyways...Why don't we all just swing around on monkey bars to get to where were goin
-
Yo why you gots to be racialist. ::)
-
Thing is most of these guys have no background in gymnastics, yet look better than people who go to the gym...one of our own here, does go to the gym, he's working the pull up bar here
Dip bars here
and these dudes doing some impressive moves

TheONLY ONE,
What country is that white guy in?

From Ukraine.
I didn't see no Zef no other black dudes perform those feats with weights and bicycle between his legs, controlled movement. Denis would have won if they all competed together.
-
I've been wanting about having ago at this for ages, the problem is that I'm not allowed within a 100 yards of a playground.

Who the hell goes to the Playground with weights, and who the hell other than a Russian would do these movements with a bike...

You're funny guy, I'll kill you last
-
It would be difficult to find an American playground that looks like that... most monkey bars, chin bars, etc. have been ripped out of U.S. playgrounds because of liability issue - they're considered to be too dangerous (a kid might fall and get hurt!) Of course that also might be why most American kids are too fat to even attempt any of those moves.
-
I will agree that all of these moves are very, very impressive.
However, my guess would be that these guys could not squat their bodyweight on a barbell 20 times.
Don't get me wrong, as a lifetime natural, I have always felt that doing chins and dips specifically (moving your body through space, not a bar through space) is extremely important.
At one point, I was using very close to the stack on the pulldown unit we had for 10 full range, perfect form repetitions, but I could not perform 10 chins with the same form.
That was a time to re-evaluate my training.

Very unlikely, I read his interview he's actually a well rounded athlete.
-
the only thing a black guy can beat is his meat.
-
pretty impressive core and all around strength, no matter what he weighs.
-
ha those workouts are great but no fuckin legs

But who cares how many times they can squat with a barbell. Functional strength is far more impressive to me than what can be done with a barbell. And I was pretty strong with a barbell. I also took gymnastics and ballet in So. Cal for 3 years. Moores Dancewear in Torrance was my home for 2 days a week and So Bay Gymnastics and Dana Jr. High was my second home. In 8th grade I was doing giants and IC's. Shit in 5th grade I was doiing Giants. It wasn't till the summer between my freshman and Sophmore year did I lift my first barbell.

that's great but i would wager a third of body weight is legs..

BP and cholesterol are both good.

Keith, how can you tell me that squatting bodyweight on bar for 20 repetitions is not "functional"??? Notice I did not mention anything about one rep max, as to me, that is purely a demonstration of strength, which invites injury.
In my eyes, in order to be considered a "complete" athlete, you must have leg strength. Without sufficient leg strength, you simply don't have an "athletic base" upon which to build "functional muscle".
Hence why I said "20 repetitions with bodyweight on the barbell".
Now, I wish someone would have shown me the light regarding high repetion squats in good form while I was in my early 20's. Instead, I had to go through the aches and pains associated with "going heavy", and not getting the overall metabolic effect of high repetition squatting in good form.
