Jay Cutler was on Off The Record tonight. Not sure when it was recorded. He did a short Q & A. Only got to see a portion of the show, and i think he did well. Anybody else watch this?

Off The Record with Michael Landsberg? I remember that show growing up and Landsberg came to my city in 2002 but I didn't realize the show covered bodybuilding.

I just had to pause it after he answered to come back to this thread. Oh man. I thought Jay was kind of forward about the topic in Bigger, Stronger, Faster? Maybe he knew that movie was hitting a more bodybuilding oriented crowd whereas this show is mainstream.

It's not a ridicolous question for the average Joe. Before I got into BB I would have believed him too if he told me u don't need roids to get that big, just many years of hard training.

Probaly wanted to see if he'd get an honest answer. Probally just unaware of weider politics to be honest. Canadians also aren't near as fond of roids as americans. Far as most canadians know there is no roids in canada. Just think our main sport is hockey, can you tell me who juices?

I sometimes saw Landsberg in a gym I used to train at. He had decent strength for a weekend warrior. Just making the point that he's no stranger to weight training like perhaps some other sports reporters/commentators.

Typical steroid user here. Only on getbig, does one profess their dirty drug habit. In reality when asked, it's always, "Uh...no."
For Jay, it's understandable...zero to gain by saying yes and his career/sponsorships depend on that.

that twink dont look like he ever touchd a weight and he admits to using sauce, gets a supp deal but the funny thing is most general sedentary public ppl see a lil muscle and think juice anyway... at least in the usa.
only thing jay or anyone at that level has to admit is they train harder than any avrg gut and without sauce theyd still look better than all avrg guys... the only reason to sauce is to compete with the very few elite lvl athletes in any sport.
it seems in any other country besides us, ppl still revere strength and muscle, macho, being a real man, lol
yet in this country everyone is resentful and mocks it... prob bc everyone is really jealous,, otherwise guys wouldnt go out and buy muscle cars... its easier to pay for it than it is to train and get it for real... and anyone that doesnt think that girls dont like big muscles is living in dreamland bc its hardwired into their dna... the past 100 or so yrs isnt gona change that... the only reason girls deny it is because not many guys carry real muscle like that , 1 out of 10 maybe,, the majority of males for chicks to choose from are either skinny of fat so of course they play off they dont like it bc they dont wana offend the sublevel guy they'll prob end up with, that and girls are very very self conscious about their body and they know they really dont want to train to look good, many just luck and look ok for a few years from from when they popd out between some chicks legs (born like thatlol)... almost like when a pic of a hot chic is posted and ppl always find something minutely wrong with her,,, lol they are trying to convince themselves bc they know they'll never get it...

agree, most people have no clue about what can be archieved in the gym naturally.
as long as protein shakes are been seen as steroids nothing will change that.

It was a good answer from Jay. Its like asking a black guy - "are you black". and him answering "no". Its a totally ridiculous question to ask J if he takes roids. And so a ridiculous question deserves a ridiculous answer.

I think jay is very intelligent and I remember a previous interview back in 2006 where the reporter said sth like I know you guys taking steroids and it is prevalent in your sport and Jay said sth like yes the supplements are very important like Hydroxycut Hardcore :)
