if you want this ngga to be picky then the "babys" face is a bit too bright and so is the second character in the first photo, the one behind.

easy level change fix.

Im currently cryptatind " D: " so I cant open photoshop for the moment and give you any tips

same here, chage the levels in the face then, select color, match color, brightness/contrast and make it blend in and play around. As I said I cant tell you exacly because you can open it lol. there is one feature which is great for also matching a "new" face into the photo cant explain without looking at it though

the Ctrl + T   is by far the best one. Before, I actually had to find faces in the same angle as the photo I was going to shop lol

I used it for years without knowing about the transform tool, as well. ;D  The perspective transform in the later versions is pretty useful but harder to control.

Adding realistic shadows and a having a consistent direction for the lighting will go a long way to making the images more realistic, if that's your goal.  Learning about channels, blend modes, adjustment layers and different masking techniques will greatly improve your ps skills too, especially when dealing with composite images.

Like someone said, makes sure to play around with brightness/contrast for anything you insert in to a scene, then play around with the saturation, I'm no pro but you can get fairly realistic results but my problem is I can't be bothered to spend more than 5 minutes on a chop.

Dis, I can't offer anything as constructive as Swede and a couple of other GetBiggers on this subject but I'd love to be a PS expert, but as Swede says, "It takes more than half a brain!" and mine is somewhat less than that even though I read lots of PS material.

Once you become a PS expert, you might want to send your stuff to the major movie studios because they provide an opportunity for PS experts to make their big name stars look better than they actually look in real life... even to the point of placing a star's head on a more impressive unknown's body which I understand is relatively easy to accomplish.

I also suggest that once you are really good, you might want to research forthcoming films on IMDB and produce some possible movie posters for the studios' consideration. Your work could possibly impress them more than their in-house graphics artists.

I've seen this work when Joe Weider received a suggested ad and cover shot from one of the on-line BB fans.

And all of this stuff can be done at home with no need to cross the US border.

PS... I got Photoshop Elements 4.0.  What am I missing by not using the full version?

I use it to crop photos or enlarge or reduce photo sizes and to enhance the photo quality.

Other than that, I'm a complete fool when is comes to using this program.

you should turn grammerpolice.com into some place where people from all over the world can redicule their newspapers for errors including wrongly spelled words etc.
And you could have a 100$ award each month to the person that submits the most photos that month,

That was the easy part...

I can't even remember how I did that one. I copied the logo in the mag, but here's the kicker: I use Elements 7 and I can do anything that the latest programs offer. I may have to work at it a bit, but anything is possible.

I would have to go back to figure out how I got the letters out of the red... I haven't done that type of work for awhile, but yeah, like the guy replied, what you are asking about is just simply a "drop shadow"- I use lots of layers for each project. By the time I'm done, the layers pallette is all the way to the bottom of the screen.

Nah...a buddy of mine installed it years ago. I mastered the program (that's not truly possible, there are many, many means to an end)-- I have all the latest CS programs too, I just don't care for them. I can rock out with my cock out on Elements without even thinking, so I just stick to what I know.

You could prolly download it online for free these days. You can't buy it at Best Buy b/c they only promote the latest shit. You could buy an Adobe Package for around $800-1K, but who needs all that shit? Who has the space?

there are Insane people out there. I cant do anything even close to that, all I do is humorus editing lol.

its always funny when people are like "wow you're amazing in photoshop" No im not basic ass editing with a bit of imagination. Those dudes are insane.

Is there money to be made in this?  Photoshop is awesome; always good for a laugh.  I'd be a cool skill to have, if ya got some time to burn.  My downfall it that after 10 minutes in front of a computer, I always gravitate to porn.

you should turn grammerpolice.com into some place where people from all over the world can redicule their newspapers for errors including wrongly spelled words etc.
And you could have a 100$ award each month to the person that submits the most photos that month,
that has potential thanks.

Disturbia, is this background real or photoshopped?

I haven't looked at any of the magazines since the coverage has been overtaken by the net, but this is an interesting shot. Are the magazines using this type of photography now-a-days?

AND ... what more could you possibly do with that horse-head shot?

Yes background looks very photoshopped.. also look at the difference in natural ambient lighting and the lighting that illuminates the guy. Totally different angles and color warmth.
