Someone told me they are really great for developing the biceps, is that true? ???

I really dont see the sense - I rather do pullups as complimentary excersis which work out the biceps a hell lot better than curls, but than again I am powerlifting and not bodybuilding and concentrate on the 4 lifts and not how I look.

Barbell curls are for biceps what squats are for legs

I do them but my wrists kill me cause they are small for how strong I am...easy bar is better for me vs. straight.

I gurantee I have smaller wrists than you I have small joints my wrists used to bug me at first but I just knuckled down and did it.... Till my wrists got used to it
straight bar curls are vastly superior to ez bar curls for pure size and thickness no contest

yep, and im pretty damn strong in it for my weight lol.

this exercise has always given me shooting pains down my forearms, especially when I let go of the bar. if I do barbell curls, I do them reverse grip style.

Need to ask? Anyone that is serious about building his biceps, as long as he doesnt have problems with his wrists or an injury, should do them. period.

I get tendonitis using a straight bar like that...has to be cambered for me.
