It sometimes happens i do a few sets of chins at home and the following day i train back i can flex the muscles much better because of the lightly soreness,
i can really feel them apart from the rest of the muscles working and i can also train them heavier.
anyone else got this?

Serge Nubret thought that too.

Supposedly, training too hard hs negative influence, because the muscle is still in repair mode. But doing enough to get some blood flow to the area does feel good.
-
Yeah it feels great, probably not best for building but who knows.

recuperative workouts are cool

I like to train them as they don't feel as sore once i get them pumped again, right now my quads feel jello-like after yesterdays leg workout

7 sets of 15 with the same weight(30second rests) of the bodypart you trained the day before ;)
-
yeah I know what you are saying its good

ideally, you would work out every muscle every day, just not to the extent that your exausting it. a couple light sets near but not reaching failure, lots of flexing. doing this will increase recovery time and help give your muscles a little more hardness and shape (THE FLEXING IS FOR HARDNESS AND SHAPE, THE WORKOUTS FOR RECOVERY).

depends on whether you're going for the health look or not. sometimes you don't got no choice, you can't roll what you used to 'cause years of heavy lifting have taken its toll on the joints.
-
I take baking soda in my protein shakes to ease the soreness then you can train the muscle sooner without knowing you are overtraining
only for calves though, they need to be overtrained for mine to grow.
-
Depends on what your goals are and how your training is layed out. For instance it your in a planned overtrainingg type phase it can be benefitical.

Only enough to get pumped and completely warm the muscle. Basically a glorified warm up. Feels good.
