I don`t understand why he was playing this game in the first place.  What was the point?

Kinda makes you take inventory of your own life.

Rutgers should definitely pick up his medical tab.

Anybody familiar or grow up watching Rodney Rogers? Seems like this LeGrand fellow will be facing something similar.

Why should they pick up his tab?  Did they force him to play this stupid game?  If anything they should just focus on academics instead, perhaps scale down the athletics or get rid of it entirely.  Why does Schooling and Education have to be intertwined with children`s games?

He is most likely a 2-star athlete at Rutgers...so wtf you think?  80-100K bill paid for by his scholarship.

Athletics---especially football is a boon for these schools. At the very least they should cover medical expenses for these kids.

no...you're the midget imbecile.  he believes what he preaches.  you can count on that.  he can back track on a comment and say he was just joking, playing when he is caught with his undies down.  even more stupid is when he logs-in and plays Jezebel.

I read that most are not money generating and operate either in the red deep or slightly below and as a result student tuition for everyone else is increased to offset the cost.  Not really fair if you ask me.  Especially, when the funds go to something as far removed from Academics (the original point of school) and as pointless as possible.

Ask him if he enjoys being paralyzed next time you see him.  ;)

I bet he wishes he never played football in his life and if he doesn`t at this point, he is a Grade A Semi-Moron.

like it or not,,, especially in this society,,, when was the last time a person or group of people "practiced academics" and sold 50,000 plus tickets for a sold out stadium fans went to watch...
not as much/many times as college/pro football games... etc

big dude took it for granted that he could make a poor tackle like that... chin up he'd be fine,,, chin/head down = broken neck

being hurt is one thing, injured is totally different,,, best wishes to him for real tho..

I am pretty sure the NCAA has insurance to cover this.  I never heard of a family going broke when their kid get hospitilized.  It is like if someone gets hurt when they compete in a NPC show.  There entry fee cover insurance at the show.  Exactly how much not sure.  Their is a blanket insurance policy and then whatever that doesn't pay them I would think the family must pay or their medical insurance would kick in some.  I know with SAG if you get hurt on set you are covered regardless.  If you die while shooting you are covered with a $1 million life insurance policy.  At least that is how it used to be

For the education he probably wouldn't have been able to afford at a school that's ranked in the top 100 universities in the country maybe? Or because he enjoyed the sport? No, that couldn't be it.  ::)

And yes, the NCAA has insurance that will cover his medical bills.

Keith,

With all due respect, what the fuck can an NPC competitor do to get hurt on stage?  It's a damn beauty pageant.  Male strippers at gay bars have a higher probability of getting hurt.

Speak on this my lovable Samoan friend,

He's a jew, that little idea might destroy his entire culture. Tone it down you insentitive prick.

I donno I kinda agree with adonis (no troll) football is a pretty destructive sport it's no secret. It's bit much if you ask me. I mean basketball/baseball and even hockey don't give no where near the amount of injuries.

But than agan I'm a soccer loving fag.

You mean the education that someone else, with more intelligence but less physical strength, can't get because dumb jocks get preferential treatment?
