Brought to with the greatest respect and admiration for the lady ASS-a-lete, seriously, imagine the crowds...
United States Pole Dance Federation (USPDF)
http://www.uspoledance.com
We know how to treat a female athlete with respect and dignity!
US Pole Dance Federation (USPDF) was founded in the beginning of 2008 by Anna Grundstrom and Wendy Traskos. It's the first organization in the US to host professional pole dancing competitions based on a fair judging format.
At the time of 2008 there were no credible pole competitions in the US that determined the winner by a professional score system. Competitions were often held in clubs, where the crowd of applause determined the winner. While this didn’t seem fair, the USPDF decided to present pole dancing as a competitive sport in a theater setting where people could truly appreciate the art of pole dancing.
In the USPDF competitions, all competitors perform two rounds: one compulsory routine and one optional routine in which they score points based on a 10.0-scale determined by judges. Whoever scores the highest points combined wins the competition.
All USPDF judges have extensive backgrounds in gymnastics, fitness, professional dance and choreography, and aerial work. USPDF judges are also thoroughly educated and trained by the board of USPDF.
USPDF consider pole dancing a sensual athletic dance form that demands coordination, flexibility, sensuality, creativity, individual style, and physical strength. All these elements are equally important in USPDF competitions.
Competitors come from various backgrounds all over the US. All competitors train at the level of professional athletes and dancers, which include a rigid schedule of pole practice, dance classes, stretch and flexibility classes, coaching and choreographers. They also work with additional professional service such as nutritionists and massage therapists.
USPDF appreciate the presence and hard work of the USPDF competitors and applicants, and is working to create more opportunities for pole dancers to compete in the future.
In addition to competitions, USPDF also runs an Affiliated Business Program for studios and an individual USPDF Membership program.

seriously, if i ever meet Howard in real life I will legit punch him in his big mongoloid sized head
-
;D It has to be that big because my brain is sooooo huge.
-
I agree. This is as much a sport as say..."Olympic Pole-Dancing". Bodybuilding has always been nothing more than a highly subjective pastime. The size-queens of the homosexual world have long ruled bodydoping, now in a fey effort to get the general poopulation involved in bodydoping, the people who brought you huge distended bellies, oil filled arms, and disgusting thongs on fat-ass overgrown faux men who give you a version of "Pole-Dancing with the Stars".

Reeves I actually liked BB despite the faults you mention. To each his own.

As much as this sounds interesting, and I know a few female competitors that have a pole in their house for exercise and more, it is wishful thinking for you Howard.
And by the way, nice seeing you at the NPC Nationals, and supporting.

Ron I swear to God, I actually think you a good guy and always enjoy seeing you at shows. I am done with the NPC however with these new divisions. Nothing personal against anyone, I am only interested in bodybuilding.

Old men need protecting, right Howard?

I used to enjoy bodybuilding. It fell from grace in the mid 1980s, with the trend toward big at the expense of humanity. I have never really been a fan of "women's" bodybuilding but can state that Rachel McLish (SP?) was and perhaps still is a very attractive woman that also happened to enter and win a physique contest or two. That which passes for a female bodybuilder today is a pathetic attempt to blur the lines between what is male/masculine and what was a woman, i.e., the female competitive bodybuilder.
All too often the lowest common denominator in the human equation rises to the top, if only because the cream of the crop avoids that particular equation. So it is with bodybuilding. When bodybuilding first came to be it was geared toward health. Now it is geared toward "gear". Sad.
I tend to speak on topics of interest and your thread, as well as several others here interested me greatly. Thanks.

LOL, I always enjoy your posts Vince, even if others give you crap on here.
I know I am pretty passive. It isn't like I am some psycho, crazy, former marine that keeps guns in his car . ;)

If you abhor arbitrary morality you should refrain from fabricating lies about other people. That might help your integrity.
