There have been a bunch of threads about this then and again but just to confirm my belief (as I have a nasty cold right now); when I am sick I don't train because it can become worse (happened to me once), I can't work at a good capacity, I might be infecting others with the cold and the immune system is already taxed, no need to add stress.
Opinions?

sure dont train when you are ill!!.. why should you train when you feel weak and depressed of your weakness,.. nothing forces you!!.. wait till you are ok and go and enjoy a strong workout..

The gym is one of the most dirtiest and germ infested places you will go each day. When you are sick your immune system is weak and venerable. So getting more sick is easier

your best personal records will actually come just prior before getting sick. The eatern germans would frequently expose their athletes to a common cold or flu viris shortly before competition. Shorty after athletes would get sick during the celbrating ceremonies after breaking world records. I believe it has something to do with the CNS.
America is so fucking behind on this shit its awful. No wonder our weightlifting steam sucks ass!

I never feel weak or ill unless I have fever. Then of course training is a no no. So I train even if I had a little bit of flu going on.

No training, no fapping.

I can train with a slight cold if I remember to OD on vitamin C and ecinacea.

Head cold - I'll still train lightly.
Chest cold - no training at all.
